Little foil-wrapped chocolate eggs skittering around the floor, flying
past your head;  confiscating them so he doesn't eat them; eating the
chocolate myself, but finding the little foil wrappers all over the

One lap; two cats11 Apr 2004 22:49 GMT5
Kona's relationship with his Mommie pretty much stabilized shortly
after I adopted he and Sebastian last year.  Kona began occupying my
lap immediately after he began living in his new home and he likes
being in the same room with Mommie even when he's not in my lap.
New Cat Toy11 Apr 2004 22:20 GMT4
Well, I got Cinders a new cat toy today.  A convenience store near my
house was selling wooden snakes, about two feet long.  They are made
up of many small sections hinged together by string, so that they
wiggle in realistic-looking S curves (they bend only along one

Persephone, as I have mentioned once or twice, is a pebble short of a
beach.
This morning she was playing "bed mouse" with Dave's toes when she
mis-judged the distance between herself and the bed and bumped her

chicken eggs so that when the eggs hatch, the chicks come out in various

Omni - RB10 Apr 2004 20:06 GMT18
My mom called last night with the sad news that Omni crossed the bridge
yesterday.  Poor little baby had been having trouble walking and eating for
some time now.  Yesterday morning she began struggling to breathe - my mom
took her to the vet for what turned out to be the last time.
R.I.P Happy Dog10 Apr 2004 18:39 GMT44
I just wanted to post that we lost our dachshund Happy this morning. He spotted
another dog, went nuts and jerked off the leash. He ran right in front of a
car.
I am never getting another pet, ever.
Advice for  Smoggleberry on adopting a miniature hoomin10 Apr 2004 17:53 GMT10
It has been a long time since we've had a miniature hoomin in our house,
and even longer since we've had one of our own to raise.  All our bare
kittens are pretty grown up now.  So, are there any of you kitties that
want to help give Smoggleberry advice on adopting and training a ...
Harvey Sulking10 Apr 2004 16:10 GMT4
Harvey has been sulking and hiding ever since we got the guinea pigs. Oh, he's
up and about. He still yells for his food and uses the litter. It's just that
we've done the Worst Thing Ever by getting the fuzzies.

Fight Club?10 Apr 2004 08:44 GMT1
Sitting here using my computer on the patio and I hear cats screaming
their rage about ten feet away.  I dash outside and Maya is squared off
against that tom she beat up the other night that I thought was Bruiser
for a minute.  Nothing unusual there, but when the tom ran off I ...
