Kona's relationship with his Mommie pretty much stabilized shortly after I adopted he and Sebastian last year. Kona began occupying my lap immediately after he began living in his new home and he likes being in the same room with Mommie even when he's not in my lap.

My mom called last night with the sad news that Omni crossed the bridge yesterday. Poor little baby had been having trouble walking and eating for some time now. Yesterday morning she began struggling to breathe - my mom took her to the vet for what turned out to be the last time.

I just wanted to post that we lost our dachshund Happy this morning. He spotted another dog, went nuts and jerked off the leash. He ran right in front of a car. I am never getting another pet, ever.
