| Kitty skirmishes | 13 Apr 2004 17:55 GMT | 1 |
At our place, four-year-old Emily chases and sometimes scratches newcomer Sophie, probably out of jealousy at no longer being the centre of the household universe. If we're nearby we use the spritz bottle to let her know it's not acceptable behaviour and she dashes off, a little ...

| BlueBird update | 13 Apr 2004 10:07 GMT | 28 |
I had a talk with BlueBird this afternoon. She is still having all the health problems, and seldom has the energy to get to the computer any more. LittleBit doesn't have much of an appetite. However, there is good news. In spite of the appetite problem, and the

| Harvey goes for the...um, casual walk | 13 Apr 2004 05:47 GMT | 1 |
Harvey slipped out again. Laughint manically, he raced across the grass...to a bush two feet away. Where he proceeded to crouch in the nice grass-free [1] dirt underneath and nibble on...a piece of grass. I'll never figure him out

| Monomania | 13 Apr 2004 02:54 GMT | 13 |
For some strange reason, Frank has suddenly decided that the fridge contains something delicious, something a million times better than the inferior slop that I served him for breakfast (Nutro Choice senior cat). I don't know what brought this on. He spent several hours trying to ...

| Cats in History | 12 Apr 2004 17:29 GMT | 1 |
Some of the speculation about the treatment of cats is a bit unpleasant, but the general idea is that there is now proof cats have been living with humans even before they moved in with the Egyptians. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/sci/tech/3611453.stm

| One-way teleportation | 12 Apr 2004 17:26 GMT | 6 |
I had to retrieve Cinders from the hall closet _again_. This time, I would have sworn that I saw her in another room after I had closed the closet door. Either she has become very good at sneaking past me without my seeing her, or else she can teleport into the closet but
