| Sleeping Cats | 30 Apr 2004 19:44 GMT | 1 |
Persia is so funny! If I'm lying on the sofa she stretches out on me full length; a flat cat... sometimes she even rolls over on her back but she's completely stretched out. I love it when she does this; she lets me rub her belly and it's so soothing to hear her purrrrrrrr, I just ...

| Muffy RB (long) | 30 Apr 2004 14:23 GMT | 16 |
Muffy, a beagle d*g we "owned" for 18 months passed over the RB a few days ago at the august age of about 15 (very old for a beagle). She lived a full, varied and wonderful life with lots of different owners/staff (she, unlike many d*gs, did believe in having staff!!).

| Purrs for Nathan please? | 30 Apr 2004 07:39 GMT | 28 |
Tomorrow he starts his *big* examinations... between then and July is the biggest test of his young life - his GCSE examinations. This decides what he can study to age 18 and then on into university. Tomorrow he has his German oral examination.

| Why? | 30 Apr 2004 07:35 GMT | 18 |
I don't expect any answers, but I have a question. Why, when a cat wants to cross from one side of your legs to the other while you are lying in bed, is it necessary for them to step on each leg with all four feet?

| Clyde - Collared | 30 Apr 2004 06:55 GMT | 19 |
This morning I put a collar on Clyde. I worry all the time about one of them getting in a car and being carried off. The collar is a clip one that snaps off with pressure on it. Let's see how long he has it on. I haven't attempted it with Bonnie yet, with her it will be a

| Job Purrs | 30 Apr 2004 06:45 GMT | 54 |
Next week I'm supposed to find out if I keep my job or get let go. I'll ask Natasha to purr, but any extra purrs and good thoughts that can be added would be greatly appreciated. Jeanne Hedge, as directed by Natasha

| My cat finally caught a mouse!!!! | 30 Apr 2004 04:41 GMT | 8 |
Lately, there were problems with mice getting in through the walls behind the kitchen counters. I found droppings on the counter, in drawers and three dead mice in glue traps. I clogged up the gaps connecting the counter to the wall. Still a big hole inside the conter

| Reconstitued frogs? | 30 Apr 2004 03:52 GMT | 9 |
After having no rain and a lot of heat for the last couple of months, we had that huge storm last night and drizzling rain for most of the day. It is now very wet. Suddenly you can hear frogs' eerie croaking in the drainage pipes and sewers of the neighbourhood. I love the sound, ...

| Biggest storm of my life (OT) | 30 Apr 2004 03:49 GMT | 9 |
Well, all I can say is I should have been careful what I wished for! When I expressed jealousy of Steve's recent thunderstorms because it's sooooo awfully hot here, I should have known better. Last night we had the worst storm of my life. And it can storm around here,

| Picked up The Dust (RB) | 30 Apr 2004 02:32 GMT | 30 |
The Dust's dust that is. :) The Pet Cemetery of Tucson has made this whole experience just wonderful for me. It is so nice to be around people who understand and care. My DH brought Dusty in to be cremated the day after he went to the bridge and even though his dust was ready to ...

| Bruiser the Brawler | 30 Apr 2004 01:47 GMT | 6 |
Bruiser just had his first big cat fight. I wouldn't say he won but he wasn't backing off. Normally any real violence just confuses him. I heard two cats fighting out front. Not screaming but fighting. I ran out there pretty sure it wasn't Maya. Maya's fights tend to be quick ...

| Help!! Bad, BAD Tommy!! | 30 Apr 2004 01:18 GMT | 37 |
He found a nest of baby rabbits in the yard and brought one in to show me. Dropped it under my desk, still alive. I of course took it away from him and put it in a soft bed and started warming some KMR. Meanwhile, Tommy went back out and got baby #2 and brought it in. I knew
