Gang fight17 Mar 2004 03:10 GMT7
Back in the seventies, I witnessed a cat behavior that I had never
seen before or have seen since.  My partner, Scuzzy, and I were using
ladder trucks to work on a telephone cable in Port Washington, New
York.  The street was a cul-de-sac so there was almost no traffic.
Anniversary memories of Kensey RB (long)16 Mar 2004 20:10 GMT11
On the occasion of the 5th anniversary of the instant (mercifully)
death by running over of this lovely companion, I thought I'd write a
few words more in sharing a celebration of his life with me rather
than sadness at his passing. You on this NG have only yourselves to

Cat does not always use litter box, he goes on the carpt.
I have been trying to fix a cat urination problem for quite a long
time. I'd like to replace the carpet in my living room, but I don't
want the cat to urinate on it. So, I'd like to fix the cat problem
Yeah!16 Mar 2004 15:35 GMT22
Spotted in the garden for the first time - a pair of long-tailed tits :-) I'm
ever so pleased as they are new visitors! I wonder, as it's a pair, if they are
going to nest nearby? If they do, I hope it's high up out of feline grasp.

New Foster Kitties16 Mar 2004 13:57 GMT16
In lat February I adopted out the last of 2003s kittens. Ahhhhh winter
break from foster kitties. Love 'em but love my break from them too.
Then someone (and I think I know who) left a cat in a taped up box on
my steps. I got her adopted too. Back to no foster felines. :-)  Until
A sweet and considerate cat16 Mar 2004 13:57 GMT3
I'm lying on the bed, reading the group from my handhelp, when Little
Feet jumps up on the bed.
He looks over at me to see what I'm doing, and rubs his face against
my right hand. Of course, I stop reading to pet him and give him
Rubberband Monster16 Mar 2004 12:37 GMT15
I keep a number of rubberbands hanging on my bedroom door for putting
on my broomstick skirts when I wash them (to set the crinkles). But
one rubberband is larger than the others, so it dangles. Robin has
been interested in it.
New routine established16 Mar 2004 08:39 GMT3
Ok, I get up at 8:30 as usual, at Vino's insistence.  I immediately head for
the kitchen and feed my poor, starving cat.  Then I head to the computer
with my cereal.  By this time Vino has eaten and headed back upstairs to
bed.
Personal service16 Mar 2004 08:07 GMT8
I have a perfectly good cat door that both cats use all the time.
Except when I'm in the kitchen, where it is located.  Whenever I'm in
the kitchen, Lindy expects me to open the door for her.  She will
usually go over to the door and wait, no matter how long it takes.  If
New neighbors16 Mar 2004 07:25 GMT6
Last fall I worried that Rocky wouldn't be willing to stay in at
night. I was looking for one of those bedwarmers you microwave and are
supposed to keep the bed warm all night. Well, I couldn't find any
locally, and about the time I was ready to head off to the bed city,
Harvey is vocal16 Mar 2004 06:51 GMT17
Apparently it is of vital importance that Harvey yell at me a lot, then run
over and eat some of his food.
No, I don't understand either.
Homing purrs needed16 Mar 2004 05:50 GMT24
My mom's cat Chiquilin has been missing for 3 days. She's afraid he
might have been stolen, but I'm hoping he's just wandering nearby.
Homing purrs would be most appreciated, my mom is very sad.

Hiccups?16 Mar 2004 03:41 GMT26
Anyone have a remedy for a cat with hiccups?
It's kind of difficult to sneak up behind her and scare her, or have
her hold her breath, or have her drink water, or many other granny
remedies!
