Dear little Apache - likes to make sure you *don't*
figure her out.
One week she'll have a "favourite" sleeping place in one
chair (and you have to fight her for it when you want to
purrs for Omni19 Mar 2004 13:47 GMT23
My mom's 13-year-old Birman, Omni, is not doing well - she's been lethargic
and recently had trouble breathing.  Yesterday she was at the vet for tests
and xrays, and the vet discovered and removed a large quantity of fluid from
her chest and lungs.  Don't yet know what's causing ...
Roxy (RB)19 Mar 2004 06:47 GMT30
Just had a phone call from a very distraught cat slave, her just over two
year old lilac Burmese, Roxanne was found dead on the road this morning, a
kind man came in to tell her and offered to bury Roxy in the garden for her,
an offer she accepted.
Another Mooch strip19 Mar 2004 04:46 GMT11
This is what Frank does when I pay too much attention to the paper and too

I'm so tired18 Mar 2004 02:32 GMT9
I've been going strong for the last 22 hours. I don't think any of us
have slowed down yet. Jody just crashed, he's been up for a solid 40
hours. Jerry, my FIL, was beginning to nap at the funeral home about an
hour ago.

[OT] Crash and burn17 Mar 2004 23:28 GMT30
Frankie 2, my trusty old Pentium 400 committed suicide yesterday.
It had been a slow death. While I'm sure the hardware was just fine, the
software was becoming flakier and flakier. Yesterday, I tried to log on for
my "fix" of RPCA, and everytime I tried to download a mesage, it ...
Serious KFW!!17 Mar 2004 22:25 GMT34
OMG!!! My niece posted portraits of each kitten! Look at those sweet, sweet,
funny, fuzzy little faces! OMG! I don't think I can go visit them any more,
or I will surely stuff them all in my pockets when I leave!

It's soooo hot..17 Mar 2004 19:48 GMT18
Last week at this time it was 50 degrees.  Since Sunday it has been almost 90
degrees every damn day.  What the heck happened to 70 or 80 for goodness sake.
Dusty is loving his sun patches. Where there is a blazing hot sun patch coming
through a window fatboy is lounging in it ...
Izzi - RIP17 Mar 2004 19:48 GMT40
Yeah, it finally happened. This morning we had to take Izzi for the final
trip to the vet. She had been ill for two or three weeks, and had had a
steroid injection to perk her up, but she had hyperthyroidism, cardiac
myopathy (sp?) and a pretty bad heart murmur. Yesterday evening ...
Harvey Yowl Question17 Mar 2004 19:48 GMT3
I've been -trying- to give Harvey more attention. But he still wakes me up in
the middle of the night yowling. I just don't get it

After becoming addicted to "Smack the Pengi"...17 Mar 2004 18:43 GMT1
I went looking for Yetti/Yeti images (don't know why exactly), but I found
this little fella and thought you'd like to see him.

I don't know what the writing says as I am limited to English.
an aging beast17 Mar 2004 14:51 GMT6
I looked up from my reading to see Beastie rouse himself from his chair
(it's a tough life!) and jump down, groom himself and start on his
rounds.  Beast has had heart toruble for 4 years now, stirrings of
Conservatory17 Mar 2004 04:53 GMT19
We're getting one.  It is part built.  They have fitted the wrong
glass, brought the wrong size glass, loosened the door that was not
sticking, smashed up the walls, and so on.
So I put Nanki Poo in the conservatory.  Not impressed.
SNOW again17 Mar 2004 04:44 GMT4
What happened to spring?  I'm getting snow dumped on me-- looks like
lots.
For Stinky, this means watch it with your eyes bugging out of your
head like you've never seen snow before, lash your tail wildly around,
