| big head | 03 Mar 2004 22:46 GMT | 10 |
Snow cover is gone, had a big wind yesterday, must of stirred up some crap in fields. Allergies kicked in yesterday. I go for years without flus or colds but change of seasons always stirs up my sinuses. Keep taking Benadryl and that makes me sleepy. Feel like a wasted life. Head

| Oops, I did it again! | 03 Mar 2004 21:52 GMT | 12 |
Tanada is currently sleeping on the top of my monitor, after shedding fur everywhere and glaring at me in disbelief. I did it again. I made the world end. She may not forgive me for a while, this time. As you all know, we are to blame for anything that happens in the feline

| Bombay or BSH - help please | 03 Mar 2004 21:37 GMT | 25 |
Iwould like to ask if anybody can help me choose a very affectionate pair of kittens. I am not too fussed on breed, but I do like the look of both the British Shorthairs (especially the bi-colours and points). However, my daughter has told me here friend has a Bombay

| Katie is seriously ill | 03 Mar 2004 20:07 GMT | 27 |
When I got my current two cats, Katie and Cinders, last June, Katie was a bit of a food-hog, and rather plump as a result. Over the last three months or so, I had noticed that Katie was no longer so plump, but her fur, and the fact that she has never liked to be picked up,

| Persia Combs my Hair | 03 Mar 2004 20:03 GMT | 8 |
She's such a funny girl :) I was lying on the sofa watching television the other night. I bring one of my bedpillows in to prop up and rest my head on and lie on my side. Persia was up on the arm of the sofa next to my pillow/head. Suddenly I felt her pressing into my hair with ...

| Screened patio | 03 Mar 2004 06:34 GMT | 9 |
I had my patio screened on Monday. I did not screen the bottom so the cats could still come and go. The screen is not for bugs but a fiberglass screen that is more for blocking sunlight. OK that is all stuff I said before. The cats seem to love it. They can sit behind the

| How many cats does it take to screw in a light bulb? | 02 Mar 2004 22:46 GMT | 14 |
Last night, I prepared to change the light bulb in the hallway. I set up a ladder under the lamp, turned away to get the new light bulb, and turned around to this. http://tinyurl.com/2kdwv

| Some days... | 02 Mar 2004 22:29 GMT | 8 |
There are days, like today, that I feel like I am running a kindergarten. I was sitting at my computer this morning, when I heard a low growl coming from the vicinity of my kitchen. It was my siamese, Amanda, and our conversation went like this:

| Goodbye my Beloved Giants | 02 Mar 2004 21:44 GMT | 29 |
The poplars flank the back of our property - tall sentinels watching over us for most of our lives. They were here long before Ted built our house for us. There was a long line of them, macrocarpas (an evergreen conifer of New Zealand), too, stretching along behind the twenty odd

| They're all sick | 02 Mar 2004 21:40 GMT | 23 |
We only have three furkids but they're all ailing. Speckles is fighting deteriorating kidney, Hobo has diabetes, now Sandy has a liver problem (enzymes so high they're off the chart). Tests have ruled out hepatitis, Cushing's, etc., and apparently the only

| My days, such as they are | 02 Mar 2004 11:07 GMT | 2 |
"Ravoom, crunch crunch" One of the first of many vehicles to be surrounding my own such vehicle. "Slam, creak, clunk, thunk, slam" Occupants of earlier vehicles removing themselves from their aluminium interior.

| [A little OT] Did we do the right thing? | 02 Mar 2004 06:02 GMT | 3 |
I am still wondering if we did the right thing to our budgie some years ago... He was i nice, friendly bird, he enjoyed cruising around in our living room, sitting on top of the window curtains, looking at the life in the street.

| rear-end case | 02 Mar 2004 05:47 GMT | 3 |
There's Case approaching the cat door then she pauses before entering to slip slowly through, wary of course that some cat be lying in ambush on the other side. What she didn't know and I caught was Willie charging
