Biskit Update13 Mar 2004 21:58 GMT30
Well, maybe I should say *lack of* an update. I had to take DH for a procedure
in the city today and in the afternoon  called to see if I could pick up
Biskit. The receptionist said she was fine, but was "wiped out" still from the
surgery and suggested we leave her again overnight. ...
Betty fantasy13 Mar 2004 21:10 GMT11
Last week, I was out of town for a day and a half, and I found myself
thinking about Betty.  It was so quiet at night, in a strange bed.
There was none of the meowing when Betty discovers me getting under
the covers.  There was none of the careful sniffing and pawing.  There
Cheap catfood = unhappy kitties13 Mar 2004 20:12 GMT28
I am seriously broke this week so I had to buy a 3.00 bag of catfood
to get by until wednesday when i can buy a bag of their usual Science
Diet.  All 5 of my girls are very upset with me and I have never seen
leftovers in their bowls hours after a feeding. This morning I opened

How does she do it?13 Mar 2004 08:55 GMT5
Can anyone tell me how she does it?  I'll be sitting at my
computer, working or playing when suddenly a cat appears between me
and the keyboard. It's my sweet old lady cat, Lady Jane Grey Kitty.
There must be some kind of kitty teleportation at work here.  Combined
Max and the sandwich, part 213 Mar 2004 03:44 GMT12
Well, since Max has been so "helpful" whenever I try to eat a sandwich, I
finally made him his own kitten-sized version and set it down on a plate -
on the table - in front of him.  He sniffed it, and then stepped around it
to - you guessed it! - take a bite out of my sandwich ...
So my brother can't take care of Persia...13 Mar 2004 03:37 GMT20
He says, and I quote, "I don't think I'll be able to take care of Persia.
Sorry. There just isn't enough room for Peaches' cage and a litter box."
EXCUSE ME?  He's got a 3 bedroom house!  I live in an apartment.  I make
room for both.  Hello?  What's the deal about room for a litter ...
Purrs for Hoomins' Tragedy13 Mar 2004 02:21 GMT36
Don't often share my heartaches with cat ng cyberfriends, but multiple purrs
needed for a couple friends in Miami, my hometown. Early a.m. today, a call
woke me from a close pal; her DH's only child, a daughter, 21, went to RB
today 3 days after driving headon into a large concrete ...

Mikey the Lovebug12 Mar 2004 21:38 GMT12
Mike is feeling better; he's not back to normal yet, but he's
definitely better.  The lower dose of Tapazole seems to have finally
started taking effect.  I hope this does it for him, as the poor
baby's had a rough time lately.  It's so hard when you have to watch
They can't blame this one on cats!12 Mar 2004 16:13 GMT11
Cats get a bad press, at times, over predation of birds. But this one they
*can't* blame on cats ;-)

Angry and Depressed12 Mar 2004 15:39 GMT40
I am so angry and depressed.
Yesterday morning, at 7 am, that is a LOUD knock on our door.  It is
our awful neighbor, the one who kept her cat chained up indoors for
years and let it slowly die from feleuk in her home :-(  The one who
Well, he's established himself.12 Mar 2004 11:10 GMT5
Since our move back to Cardiff from Edinburgh last week, HRFL Tiger has
been busy establishing who is "da boss" in his new abode. The kitchen
door in the house we're in now, is old, vicotrian, and when it shuts, is
still loose.
