It's cool here this morning with a touch of autumn in the air.
Bonnie expects home comforts and warmth is at the top of her list.  She
began her performance the moment I stretched out in the lazy-boy chair
with the Sunday newspaper.   She started  up with ear-splitting

I was watching TV and heard a loud conmotion coming from the dining
room, like someone was charging against the door that leads to the car
port. I got up and saw the neighbor's cat attacking Luna through the
glass. I chased our cats away from the door and got out to chase Max

I have been very unhappy at the estimate that my vet gave me for
Shasta's lumpectomy. $460! It is only a lump under the skin and not
even connected to the chest wall. It should be a simple operation

We got a bunch (technical term, meaning more than an inch - grin) of
snow last night. It looks like 4 to 5 inches on the ground, although
the roads and parking lots seem to have melted away (I'm dreading the
refreeze we'll likely get tonight).

I woke up this morning with Little Feet meatloafing on my chest, just
purring away. His soft purr rumbled in my ears as he nuzzled my neck.
Buster had cuddled up under my right arm and was likewise purring
away.

I'm afraid "real life" stuff has taken over just lately; I haven't
even been able to lurk much, and am now waaaay behind as we've been
out of town for several days.  So here's another annoying "purrs to
all who need them" post from me, though I am hoping to get back into

So at the hamfest (amateur radio convention thing), this lady was
selling "Weazel Balls", which are these motorized ball toys with a
weasel-like fluffy thing attached via a nylon cord. When turned on, they
roll about on the floor, the weasel-like thing flipping and looking like

DH was going through the Christmas cards the other day and brought yours to
me, questioning "What is 'the lump'?". I told him it was the the bareskinned
Yowlet you are expecting. He said "Oh. Okay." but still walked away looking

After reading Krista's post today concerning compounding pharmacies, a
light bulb went off and I decided to check for the price of saline at
Drs Smith & Foster.
'Course there are several different saline solutions, and I don't know

Last year TED said Natasha (who will be 17 in April) was having kidney
trouble, but was given an all-clear 3 months ago as all urine/blood
values were within spec. Natasha had a check-up yesterday, and the BUN
and Creatinin values from the blood test were slightly out of spec
