Happy 1/2 Birthday to Weeble!22 Feb 2004 03:14 GMT41
That's right - this week Sir Weeble Wobblybottom (whose bottom is no longer
wobbly at all) will be 6 months old.  I found him on 8/22 of last year, and
he was less than a week old, so our vet pinned his Birthday as being
8/18/03.
Minature purrs needed22 Feb 2004 01:38 GMT10
Or maybe big ones, California may not be the same.
As some remember, my mother and sister are somewhat.... volatile when
they get together for extended periods of time. Well, my sister is
expecting within a short order of time. Within the week or outside of
Attic cat22 Feb 2004 00:59 GMT7
When I got home from work yesterday, I called the cats that were
outside with the generic "kitty kitty, kitty".  None showed up, but I
heard a meow I didn't recognize coming from the garage.  I went in and
called again - the meow was fainter and hard to place.
SOOOO Close22 Feb 2004 00:57 GMT11
My other half and I decided sometime ago that we should get another cat...we
both decided that a grey kitten would be ideal!!
SOOO....yesterday there were a litter of 6 week old grey kittens to be given

The Investigation21 Feb 2004 22:24 GMT9
Last night, I was letting Buster out.
When I opened the door, and put a bowl of food out for him and his
buddies, a pretty black cat (Yes, Waffles, I know there is *no other*
kind - big grin) walked into the house.

Sigh...kinda sad (OT)21 Feb 2004 21:34 GMT25
Waaaah, Dennis left again this afternoon for work in Burma.  He won't be
back until March 31 :-(  For some reason it just seems harder to have him
leave this time than the other times.  This is the 4th time.  Our 8th
wedding anniversary is this Saturday and he won't be here, but we ...

Persia and the box21 Feb 2004 20:32 GMT3
Persia had that bout with UTI last month which sent me scurring to the vet
to find out the source of the blood on her pillow.  He told me then, you can
buy Purina One UR formula at a pet supply place but we'll start her out on
this Rx stuff and then you can buy it on your own.

Goofy Vino antics20 Feb 2004 20:46 GMT4
Well, Vino definitely knew that Dennis was leaving yesterday.  As soon as
the suitcase came out, he began acting absolutely adorable and affectionate.
Poor baby, he was probably thinking that he could make Dennis decide to stay
if he was cuter than normal!
I am a great aunt!!!20 Feb 2004 18:25 GMT32
Yesterday my niece Ursula gave birth (Cesarean section) to a healthy 8lb 2oz
girl :-)
No name for the wee one yet.
Mother and baby are doing well.
Half-term and Waffles is loving it20 Feb 2004 18:18 GMT6
Over here in England it's school half-term week. Hence Nathan is home from
school and doing lots of revision.
Waffles is thoroughly enjoying having her large hoomin kitten at home all day.
She is making sure he doesn't stray by taking every opportunity to be a lap
PETA strikes again...20 Feb 2004 09:11 GMT22
I don't know how you all feel about PETA's antics, but I wanted to share this
witth you. It's really quite funny if you think about it.
There''s a town here called "Slaughterville." PETA has stepped in and is
lobbying to get the name of the town changed, due to the negative ...
