| Cuphead bw | 23 Feb 2004 07:29 GMT | 4 |
I was eating olives from a cup last night. Spicey perched on my armrest to investergate. Like the lastime I had olves she became insistant. After I'd eaten them, she stuck her head in and had a lickfest. We had to set the cup on the floor. She stuck her head in and lifted the cup ...

Dennis hadn't eaten but had he drunk something? Lots of peanut stuff over there and those allergies can develop literally over night. Happened to a friend in college that way and ended up being peanuts. I mean, there could be residue on a glass or something? I hope he finds out soon ...

| Elderly rescuers | 23 Feb 2004 01:45 GMT | 10 |
The elderly love pets. I have known this for a long time. I just met an elderly couple that have rescued five dogs over the last few years. The funny thing is they are all Maltese. Now the couple didn't plan it that way.Tthey didn't specialize. It just happened. Maybe people just

| Luggage Tag | 23 Feb 2004 00:14 GMT | 18 |
I have some photos of Persia on Webshots and they offer a variety of things you can do with your photos. Since I'm planning to take a trip in the Spring, and since *everyone* seems to have a grey nubby garment bag that looks just like mine, I ordered a luggage tag from them to ...

| Mouse update (gross) | 23 Feb 2004 00:02 GMT | 8 |
Thank you all for your help and advice, but I think the animal has been found - dead! I never saw the little (uggghhhh) creature, but my neighbour had a bad (she said "foul" but it wasn't really that bad) smell coming from her bedroom

| Persia and the Pistachio Nuts | 22 Feb 2004 08:49 GMT | 4 |
I bought a bag of (non-dyed) pistachio nuts and have been snacking on them. Persia was sniffing at the bag, crying, whining, fussing. So I gave her a shelled pistachio. She licked at it, pretended to chew on it, spit it out and left it on the carpet. Now she's whining at the bag ...

| Cats in the oven | 22 Feb 2004 04:40 GMT | 15 |
I usually roast a chicken once a week. The first night we eat the breast and wing with a salad, and the next day I use the thigh and leg meat for quesadillas or something. We can't leave half a chicken on the kitchen counter, or it will become cat food. It's happened a couple of ...

| Luna strikes again | 22 Feb 2004 03:28 GMT | 8 |
So it's Friday afternoon and I'm sitting watching TV. I start hearing agitated meows that seem to be coming from outside. I figure it's the grey and white kitty that does that sometimes. However, the sound keeps moving from the front to the side and it's very clear. Suddenly it ...
