I swear, Vino's been doing the cutest things lately!  I just have to share
this latest thing he did.  I was in our workout room, lifting weights.  Vino
always wants in and lets me know it by scratching on the door.  So I let him
in until he tells me he wants out again by scratching ...

I have always called him that as one of his many nicknames, but now
it's official - we got the blood test results back today and he *is*
hyperthyroid.

This morning I decided to treat the cats with some tuna.  So I pulled the
can down from the shelf in the cupboard and took it the whole step to the
sink to open.  Bruiser was already there to help me open the can.  I got
two bowls out and set them down, Bruiser checked them and ...

I work with the SPCA of Northern Virginia.  I remember reading
notes from several members of these groups who have deaf cats.
Casperetta is a deaf cat (about 6 months old) that we are
fostering right now and her foster mom is having problems

Does anybody have a cat that is a neat freak?
One of my cats, Serena  aka Sis seems to be a neat freak. Everything in
house has to be  in its place or she flis out. She just walks thru a

So there I was, making a cup of coffee for me and for
hubby and he pointed out that the sugar bowl was
empty.
So I handed him the sugar bag to fill it.  He did so

arrivals, I hope she soon accepts them. Milo is the most photogenic of the
boys, it's not easy to get a good photo of a black cat. I will try to post

I had my patio screened today.  Its not for bugs, the screen is made of
fiberglass to be a sunscreen.  Its pretty much the same stuff I have on
all my windows, you can see through it pretty well if it is brighter
outside than inside.  Which is most of the time since the outside ...
