Am I insane?03 Feb 2004 03:45 GMT27
I just love the smell of cat BREATH.
Am I the only one?
I'm pissed03 Feb 2004 00:56 GMT16
Iam really pissed about something I heard on the radio.  I was in the car
and had the radio on.  They started doing the news and were talking about
a fire that they could not figure out how it was started.  Turned out it
was started by a crystal ball that was sitting in the sun ...
the little brat02 Feb 2004 21:25 GMT6
I was just sitting on my bed reading last night, munching on some club
crackers when Mischief jumped on the bed.  I'm so occupied in my book
I turn just in time to see her chomp down on the cracker in my hand
and start munching on it.  She even licked the crumbs off the blanket.
GW Marble strikes again..02 Feb 2004 20:05 GMT5
Last night Marble jumped up on the sofa and curled himself up around my hand.
Next thing I knew - *stink* - and I mean a sort of "dead monkey up the backside
rotting for the last six weeks" type of smell.
The little sh*t had expressed his anal glands on my hand...
Moving and cats: BW.02 Feb 2004 17:41 GMT8
It's been awhile since I poste here. So just to remind anyone who is
silly enough to read this, my wife and I have 2 cats. Shroder, an
orange tabby, and Libby, who is multicolored, but not quite a tortoise
shell.
Cat + Pill01 Feb 2004 23:23 GMT2
Just received this today:
HOW TO GIVE THE CAT A PILL
1) Pick cat up and cradle it in the crook of your left arm as if
holding a baby. Position right forefinger and thumb on either side of
Pics: Ice Sculptures at the zoo01 Feb 2004 21:59 GMT15
Last weekend and this weekend, an international competition in ice sculpting
was held at the Helsinki Zoo. I went to see some of it. Last week's
sculptures were exhibited, and this week's competitors were working on their
scupltures in front of the audience. I took my camera, of ...

Josi, part Siamese, part Stegosaurus?01 Feb 2004 16:29 GMT2
My almost-grown part-Simmy, Josiah, is one of the most playful
cats I've ever known. He's a white furry ball of energy, leaping
into the air, dashing in a blur across the carpet, chasing my feet
under the covers whenever I move in bed... My sister lovingly calls

Public service announcement (PSA)01 Feb 2004 13:55 GMT4
The Peninsula Humane Society, just south of San Francisco, California,
has produced a public service announcement, which I guess will be shown
on local TV. Their website has a downloadable preview of the PSA which
you all should go take a look at! It requires Real Player to see it,
Lion Cut01 Feb 2004 13:51 GMT10
I am curious about the lion cut.  Bruiser is awfully fuzzy, well
beautifully fuzzy.  He did not have any problems last summer but he is a
lot fuzzier now.  I am curious if anyone else has a Main Coon in the
southwest and how well they deal with the heat.  I'd hate to tamper with
Fractional Fizz01 Feb 2004 06:50 GMT1
Fizz was sitting up in his little bed today, looking particularly portly.  I
commented to that effect, and DH looked up and said "Oh, he's just resting
his top half on his bottom four-fifths".  It suited Fizz to a tee at that
moment. :)
Hobo's Sick01 Feb 2004 03:40 GMT62
Hobo has had some trouble walking the past few weeks.  His back legs
seemed to be weakening a bit but it was not particularly alarming.  We
assumed it was due to the dregs of the maulings he endured last summer
and his lengthy recovery from bites on his back leg.  Also, since his
Remembering a Persian01 Feb 2004 01:57 GMT2
After reading Flippy's latest update on Tiffany and seeing the pics, it got
me thinking about my cousin's Persian she had (and dang if I can remember
the name!) a couple years ago.
This cat was a big orange ball of attitude. He didn't like to be cuddled
