[OT] My little part of the Texas snowfall29 Feb 2004 22:36 GMT5
Finally, I got some time to look over the pictures I took during the
recent snowfall in my little part of Texas - Arlington, Texas.
I didn't get any great action shots of Little Feet rolling in the
snow, but I did get a shot of his pawprins (grin).

Here's another cute picture for your enjoyment. Poor thing couldn't
choose between food or sleep:

...well, reintroducing Marari, and introducing Mysti, anyway.  Marari is a
3-year-old neutered male Orange Tabby, and Mysti is an 8-month old female
Maine Coone who will be spayed tomorrow!

Max and the sandwich29 Feb 2004 21:04 GMT10
I sat down at the kitchen table with my lunch - almond butter and fruit
spread on a slice of whole grain bread - and immediately, there was Max up
on the table.  He sniffed my sandwich, licked it, and then chomped down on a
corner of the bread - all this while I was trying to eat, ...
fireman save cats in house fire29 Feb 2004 16:22 GMT3
I saw on the news that in Florida I think , fireman saved several cats in a
house fire. ( I was up at 4 am for work and not awake yet so I misssed some
of the details) The owners were on vacation and the fireman saved the cats
from the fire. It showed them giving oxygen to the cats ...
Dishwasher29 Feb 2004 12:13 GMT5
I make my own yoghurt, banana cappuccino flavour, and I put it on my cereal
along with 1/2 scoop of vanilla protein powder.  I just finished my cereal
while reading the NG and put the bowl on the edge of the desk and Vino
immediately began licking out the bowl.  He's always liked ...
New cat on the block29 Feb 2004 09:52 GMT2
Vino's been visited regularly by his arch-nemesis, Spot, a white cat with a
big round brown circle on her side and a brown half tail and brown ears.
Vino and Spot absolutely hate each other and there is much yowling at each
other through the glass doors.   Sometimes she'll even try ...
Snowball's first snowfall29 Feb 2004 02:12 GMT8
Here in Cornwall, at the South-western tip of the UK, snow is a
rarity, falling only once a year and usually melting right away. But
today it came and stayed, so I hoped that Snowball the Ragdoll
Hoolikitty, now aged 11 months, would enjoy a gambol and a gallop in
Mike's feeling better!!29 Feb 2004 01:56 GMT25
He's back to being *our Mike* again, or as his daddy said, "You're
back to your old mildly annoying self, Buddy!"  We are getting ankle
ambushes instead of compulsive pacing!  Langorous blinks instead of
fixed glares!  He's even *playing* in his new box, in which the (very
Silly Cat!28 Feb 2004 23:53 GMT8
This morning, as I was leaving for work, I happened to look at my kitchen
window. There was my 7 month old kitten, Chet, pressing the side of his face
against the window, looking so forlorn! I went over to the window and
pressed my fingers against it, and he rubbed the window like ...
BANG! SMACK!28 Feb 2004 22:25 GMT10
I'm sitting here peacefully reading posts when all of a sudden, BANG! SMACK!
That neighbor's cat is roaming around again.  Persia was looking out the
window of my (home) office and here comes that friggin cat.  Persia charged
at the window then smacked at it with her paw.  (Scared ...
feeding 2 spoiled cats28 Feb 2004 19:42 GMT29
My 2 cats have been with me since they were kittens.. one now weighs 18 lbs.
and the other 15 lbs.  The vet said they were healthy and not to worry about
their weights.  I have 2 himmies and they tend to gain weight over time.
My problem is that I am used to feeding some canned cat ...
Snow again28 Feb 2004 16:06 GMT13
Once again we have a couple of inches of snow on the ground, and once again
Norfolk grinds to a halt with hundreds of school closures. Grrr...
Anyhow, the cats are much fascinated by the sight of the birds in the garden
hopping about in the snow picking up the food I leave out for ...
Meowmie bought something on the internet...28 Feb 2004 10:33 GMT19
