The Secret Life of FSP28 Jan 2004 01:07 GMT24
FSP vanished for three hours after I let her out this morning.
I have been wandering around the street calling "Fluffy, Fluffy," -  she
always comes if she hears me and rarely goes off for long.
On my way back from the main road (where I had nervously been looking)
I'm so ashamed but I gotta ask27 Jan 2004 22:13 GMT2
I'm blushing but sheesh... I can't find my address book to know for
sure.
Is Pea=Cati? I know Pea lived in Scotland and was getting married...

[OT] unusual dog fur27 Jan 2004 19:36 GMT14
One of my boss's dogs is a mixed-breed named Clipper.  Her shape,
size, and coloring look German Shepherd, but she has an unusual
growth pattern to her fur that I have never seen on any other dog.
It grows in distinct ridges, about one inch apart, running lengthwise
Fun with pasta27 Jan 2004 18:55 GMT11
My sister is moving to Texas and gave me a lot of stuff she didn't
want to take, including a lot of food. So I suddlenly have a huge
container of noodles to find a canister for. I start consolidating
half-full canisters of macaroni so I will have some whole containers

*twitch* Purrs please *tic*27 Jan 2004 01:39 GMT19
Eve, bless her little heart, has only given me a hard time once. That
was the week we were in San Francisco and she had an ear infection/cold.
It was a miserable four days, but we perservered and survived despite
the futile outlook.
First Contact (with Mithu)27 Jan 2004 01:15 GMT16
My baby Catherine is now almost 5 months old.  Just recently she has started
showing obvious interest in the cats.  Tonight I was holding her and DH was
showing her our wall calendar, which has a different Maine Coon cat for each
month.  Catherine gazed eagerly at the calendar, with ...
Victor!26 Jan 2004 23:47 GMT8
Hi Victor:
I might be in Austin on Saturday March 5th.  My flight would get in at 4:25
PM and I would leave for my workshop just outside of Austin on Sunday around
4:00 PM.  Would you be around?  I couldn't show up for the workshop with a
B & C & FSP - Casserole Capers26 Jan 2004 23:18 GMT17
DH did it.  He took the covered Indian Curry Casserole into the kitchen
and left it on the bench instead of in the frig.  This morning the lid
was off and a scene of destruction met my eyes.   What hadn't been eaten
had been walked in!
kitty vs puss26 Jan 2004 22:20 GMT32
I usually have a cat or two join me as soon as I climb into bed at night.
If not, I call to them.
When I call "here kitty kitty!" I may or may not get a response.  However,
when I call "puss puss puss!" all three cats not only come running, they
Is acwd totally dead?26 Jan 2004 19:16 GMT9
I thought alt.cats.world.domination sounded interesting, but not a
single post has appeared in it for over two months. Is it a dead NG I
can delete?
Who's the dumb one again?26 Jan 2004 18:17 GMT2
Watering Hole from Cloudeights' "Cats!" Stationery collectionI am in
here on the computer playing a game.
Miss Tilly Ann is demanding to be in, so I let her in and then tell
her I am not holding her so she can sleep on the chair, so she is,
Weeble's getting upper fangs!!!!26 Jan 2004 04:49 GMT6
I *sniff* posted the other day (yesterday?) that Weeble's upper *sniff*
fangs were still his baby *sniff* fangs.  Well, upon a closer *sniff*
inspection during one of his cuddle *sniff* sessions on my lap, I was able
to *sniff* see that in front of/beside his baby *sniff* fangs ...
It's OK26 Jan 2004 03:43 GMT29
I don't really mind being woken up by Frank at all hours of the night. After
the initial shock of being awake at 4.30, it's quite nice to have him
nudging my face and purring in my ear. I know I'd wake up early anyway, even
if the cats were not there. That's just how my inner clock ...
Who in the world lives in Norway?!?!25 Jan 2004 22:05 GMT45
Dangit, I just checked, it wasn't Lewe. It's not Marina. And I think
it's Hans but he's relatively new... Wasn't there *somebody* that lived
in Norway around here???
