Bonnie - Foot Dance10 Jan 2004 03:54 GMT5
I looked out of the window and noticed that my neighbour across the road
was behaving in a peculiar manner.  He was in the middle of painting his
house and doing a sort of dance, - sideways, hop, - forward, hop, shake
it all about and so on, hop.   He also seemed to be waving his ...
Missing collars09 Jan 2004 19:41 GMT7
Bruiser has managed to lose not just one collar today but two.  He has
never lost one before.  This morning he was still wearing the first
collar I gave him.  I keep spare collars but this is ridiculous.  I am
not sure whether he is ditching them on purpose or if his buddy is
Kitty rap..09 Jan 2004 18:09 GMT1
I think some folks here might *relate* to this song - appologies
if it has been posted before, but it was the first time I have seen
it.

Official Eeeeeewwwwwww of the day09 Jan 2004 06:00 GMT8
Bruiser just came in carrying something and started throwing it around
the house.  After a few minutes I got up to see what it was and he had
some long dead dried out bird he found.  I grabbed a rag threw it over
the bird and into the trash. CATS!!!!!!!!!
Attitudes Towards Black Cats09 Jan 2004 00:46 GMT44
I've always thought black cats were pretty.  One of my two new cats,
Sabastian, is a longhaired black cat (He has a very few white hairs on
his chest but too few to even call it a patch, so in my mind he's a
black cat).  Until she passed away this summer, I had Prissy, who was
Weeble update - no new piccies (yet)09 Jan 2004 00:07 GMT9
Not much new here, his neuter went fine - the next day he was back to normal
and except for his shaved 'nads you wouldn't have been able to tell he's had
surgery at all.  At the time that he had his surgery, he weighed 4.11
pounds, but now he doesn't register on our little postage ...
The scary part turns sort of good, we hope08 Jan 2004 23:14 GMT27
Sheba went in for her glucose curve today. Since she bottomed out a
couple weeks ago, her insulin was dropped to 1 1/2 units. Today her
base figure, an hour after eating and insulin, was 48! Then it climbed
and 6 hours later was at a high of 180 and started down again.
Purrs for wind to die down08 Jan 2004 22:52 GMT22
My 92-year-old mother is on her way home after a visit with me.  She
lives in Valdez, Alaska, and has to take a relatively small plane from
Anchorage to Valdez.  She has been away from home (and her toy poodle)
for two weeks, and is very anxious to get home.  At the moment they are
hello from Bunter08 Jan 2004 15:54 GMT7
Sitting here at the computer, I felt a cat rubbing back and forth against my
leg.  I reached down to pet my affectionate little friend - and my hand met
only air.  I looked down and couldn't see any cats - yet I could still feel
him rubbing against me.
Minke visits the vet08 Jan 2004 13:35 GMT6
So did Nanki Poo, but I could not hear him.  A Siamese in full cry is
impressive, and Minke silenced both Nanki Poo and two Alsatian sized
dogs.
NP had his regular shot, the vet said Minke was ok, and he found a
A new vet (just for Peaches the lovebird) but...08 Jan 2004 12:42 GMT2
The band on Peaches' leg has really been giving her grief; she kept pulling
at it like she was trying to get it off.  Well, it got so irritating she
started feather plucking around that leg.  Uh oh, had to nip that in the
bud!  So I got Persia's vet to refer me to a good avian vet.  ...
*Ping* Waffle's Mommy08 Jan 2004 07:49 GMT1
Today one of my patients was in accompanied by a little boy whom she
introduced as her "great nephew".
That got me thinking, aren't you going to be a great aunt soon?
Stacey ;)
2.5 cats now08 Jan 2004 05:01 GMT5
Bruiser's little friend Mathew has almost moved in.  He is spending hours
a day here.  Last night I had to run him out to go to bed.  I think he
prefers the food here.  I leave dry food out for the cats to graze and he
likes it.  Strangely, Maya doesn't seem to mind.  I think it ...
