I think I am being taunted13 Jan 2004 21:29 GMT4
I think I am being taunted. Earlier this week I said how Bruiser lost two
collars in less than 8 hours.  A few minutes ago there is one of the
collars laying in the middle of the living room floor.
Bonnie is Missing13 Jan 2004 18:28 GMT25
I have searched the place for her.   It was so hot this afternoon that I
let them all out for a run.   I always keep an eye on them but suddenly
she was gone.   I am hoping that she is just engrossed in something
fascinating but she never goes off like this.  I may just be panicking
[OT] Soccer Movie Question13 Jan 2004 15:57 GMT7
A question for those who know a heck of a lot more about soccer
(football) than this american girl does....
They were showing the 1981 movie "Victory" on TV tonight. I believe it
was also known as "Escape to Victory". This was the movie with Michael
Help!13 Jan 2004 03:35 GMT6
I think I have ruined my beloved RPCA Cattitudes t-shirt.  Anyone know how
to get paint out of a black t-shirt?  I shouldn't have worn it painting but
it is my most favorite long sleeve t-shirt to wear around the house and it
is damned cold here this weekend.  :(
Thanks a bunch, my rpca friends................12 Jan 2004 22:46 GMT6
Thank you everyone who made my Christmas and my Birthday so very
wonderful by sending me snail mail and e-mail cards.  I fully
appreciated all of them.  Nothing makes my day more than an e-mail from
a friend and that's not just blowin' smoke either.  I mean it......
Purrs for Waffles please?12 Jan 2004 21:59 GMT59
Took Waffles to see TED this morning. She was acting out of sorts - as if she
has a urinary tract infection. Howling, looking to pee, wanting to be out,in,
out,in every five minutes & Marble was starting to bully her...
So I rang TED & took her down there straightaway.
Flying cats12 Jan 2004 14:09 GMT101
Tomorrow, my two purr-bags (feral Pandora, and His Royal Feline
Lordship Tiger) are off to the vet to get their final pre-flight
checks before flying from the USA to the UK on Wednesday. Whilst both
are experienced travellers & flyers, they are going to be entering the
Minke is growing up12 Jan 2004 12:46 GMT4
He may eventually become a fully-fledged Siamese.  After testing his
lungs at the vet's - and surprising a couple of Alsatians - now at the
age of 20 months or so he has for the first time .......

Urgent and very confidential12 Jan 2004 12:46 GMT7
 Meeee - aaa - rrowwwwwww !!!!!
I have received the following.  I am not pleased.  Cats do not use
banks nor do the fall for little scams.  And I am not a Sir/Madam, but a
pure-bred Siamese!

I didn't title all of them, but they are of him chasing the
tassel-on-a-stick (all of the feathers-on-a-stick have been ruined: feathers
broken and they don't 'spin' like they're supposed to).  DH tried to get
Update on baby squirrel12 Jan 2004 04:59 GMT9
It seems the purrs worked! We heard the squirrel mom on the roof doing
lots of noise and after a few hours the baby was gone! We're hoping mom
took her to their new home, away from the hawk.
Urgent purrs needed for baby squirrel11 Jan 2004 20:40 GMT14
A hawk discovered a squirrel nest in one of our trees today. The
squirrel mom started moving her young to another location, but one of
the babies fell from the nest and onto my car. I found it on the
windwhield. He's tiny, no fur at all and the eyes are still closed. We
Bonnie Catches a Snake11 Jan 2004 20:23 GMT17
We were in Australia waiting for an hour to pass before we drove onto a
ferry to cross a river.  Nearby, here was this funny ramshackle houe
with a sign outside that said 'come in, all sorts for sale'  Who could
resist that!  Therein lived a strange young couple.
A wonderful day11 Jan 2004 20:22 GMT3
Yesterday was just a wonderful day for the cats, pretty good for me as
well.  It was finally a warm sunny day here in Vegas.  All that cold
weather that has been over Vegas for weeks finally moved east where it
belongs.  My neighbor who stops in to take care of the cats when I'm ...
Brain fart (OT)11 Jan 2004 20:22 GMT32
Today I was driving home and found myself in a rather pensive mood. My brain
wass seemingly stopping on random topics and paying them much more attention
than usual. So now as I sit listening to some Blue Oyster Cult, I submit for
your consideration some of my thoughts....
