Eli's Diagnosis31 Jan 2004 22:37 GMT11
Took him to TED today. No broken bones! Just a bad sprain. And we learned
that he tips the scale at just over 13 lbs.
Thanks again to all who purred for his well-being.
Baby Eyes continues taking care of him, laying on top of him in the cat bed

cat nightmare!31 Jan 2004 13:47 GMT8
I had such a weird dream last night. I was in the living room, and for some
reason I was MSN chatting to an American friend of mine using the TV as a
monitor. She was describing her cat, and said 'here he is'. And she sent her
cat through the TV screen.
Losing Everything/Cats May Need New Home31 Jan 2004 09:22 GMT15
My husband and I have been unable to find work, and we're to the point
financially that we're looking at losing the house. We have three kitties
that we're very concerned about. If the worst happens, they will need to
find a new home, and I really don't want to have them put in a ...
Purr Request for a hoomin and a bird31 Jan 2004 09:15 GMT13
Hi all. Got word today that one of my patient's is out of a home since her
apartment burned up Sunday. She was home when the fire started, but luckily
got out OK. Her son wasn't home, thank God, and is fine, but her little
parakeet was lost in the fire :(.
Snow tow (BW)31 Jan 2004 06:40 GMT33
In the light of the snow and how it brings out the stupidness of the motorist -
I got this from another newsgroup. Worth the download time if you aren't on
broadband I think!

Cary got his first headbump today. Obviously my tummy is now big enough to
be considered buttable by Shmogg.
Awwwwww.

Allright. I finally subscribed to abpa because people keep posting pics
there. But today I click on it thinking it's rpca and first thing I see is
someone posting a picture! Tch tch, no binaries here, please! I was about to
post a missive saying as much when I realized I was in abpa ...
RJ jealous -- attacks catdad!30 Jan 2004 19:29 GMT10
A few days ago I stepped outside my apartment to chat with a neighbor.
He has this miniature dashound and it was roaming around at our feet.
My big orange fuzzbuddy RJ was watching intently from my living room
window, studying the situation intently.

Mathew, Bruiser's little friend, has become a nuisance.  His people never
got him nuetered.  They planned to but never quite got around to it.  He
is a year old I found out yesterday not a few weeks older than Bruiser,
more like a few months although Bruiser dwarfs him.  I ...

Hi all. Just posted some cute pics (not my kitties) to ABPA that my mom sent

Natural relaxant for cats30 Jan 2004 06:55 GMT12
I remember reading about a natural product that you added to the cats'
water to help them relax when they're stressed. Is there such a thing or
did my mind make it up? Luna's bald patch in her tummy is growing and
I'm getting more concerned. It's still not bloody or irritated or

"The Looney"30 Jan 2004 01:04 GMT1
I have just finished reading  --  amid shouts of laughter and an
occasional "I know!  I know!"  --
"The Looney and Her Mate."   This hilarious story mentioned The Looney,
who has "Sucker!" printed on her forehead in a way that only cats can
Eli's been injured....30 Jan 2004 00:37 GMT37
I don't know what happened.... Eli and Tommy were outside this evening, and
I heard some commotion and screaming of cats. Went out and found Tommy on
the roof and Eli nowhere in sight, nor did he come when called as he usually
does.
