California Earthquake23 Dec 2003 10:16 GMT8
Everything ok out there, those of you who were participants in
Monday's central California earthquake?
For those who hadn't heard, there was a 6.5 earthquake late Monday
morning in California. The epicenter was located near the coast,
Fenda. RB. RIP.23 Dec 2003 09:48 GMT31
Fenda was put to sleep at home today, she'd been ill for several days, and
there was no hope of recovery. The vet was kind and gentle with her, and she
died quickly and peacefully in the end.
She was sixteen and a half years old, and had lived with us since January
Ebony at vet again :(23 Dec 2003 09:46 GMT20
My MIL called me today in near panic, had to take Ebony in again since he
appeared to be blocked again. She also said something about a dog or coyote
chasing him up a tree and him falling out or something, but I think she'd
been hitting the beer and wasn't making much sense. She ...
Way, way behind23 Dec 2003 06:49 GMT8
It's actually only been a couple of days that I haven't had time to
get on the computer for more than a quick check of e-mail, but I seem
to be running far behind on reading and posting and can't catch up!
Please consider yourselves purred.  ;-)

[OT] Iron Chef23 Dec 2003 06:32 GMT19
Joel thinks its slightly bizarre that I *insist* on tuning into a show - and
a weird show that is playin gon our 'community' channel at that - purely by
the fact that some cat group on the internet has recommended it.
Never the less, I was delighted to discover that "Iron Chef" had ...
Feeling Nostalgic... hope you don't mind :)23 Dec 2003 04:48 GMT12
Back when I was 15, I lived in a house on the corner with a strip of woods
across the street.  There was a stray cat that would come over to the house.
I'd sit out on the driveway in the evenings and this grey striped tabby (I
called her Baby) would come up and want to be patted and ...
B & C and FSP - Command Performance23 Dec 2003 04:05 GMT6
Every night at bedtime it is  time for the B & C and FSP show.
They all know that I catch them and put them in the dining-room-kitchen
for the night.
It goes something like this.   John goes to bed early and I go to bed

Merry Christmas to all - Checking In22 Dec 2003 20:46 GMT4
Hello to everyone at RPCA.  I'm sorry that I haven't checked in a long time,
but I do occasionally look in to see what's up.
I created a special RPCA Cattitude Wallpaper for group members, using the
same photo that was used for the Cattitude T-Shirts. The wallpaper is in
British Greeting Card Site22 Dec 2003 20:12 GMT1
All you Brits friends, not to mention stateside catslaves: someone I know
just sent me the cutest card from a website I'd never heard of. It costs to
join the woman's business and email her e-cards, but you can "preview" -
sample - quite a few she shows in anticipation of your ...
Neighborhood Hazard (COFFEE ALERT!)22 Dec 2003 18:51 GMT10
Neighborhood Hazard (or: Why the Cops Won't Patrol Brice Street)
I never dreamed slowly cruising through a residential neighborhood could
be so incredibly dangerous!
Studies have shown that motorcycling requires more decisions per second,
Did you hear the one about...22 Dec 2003 17:07 GMT1
. . . The ogre who insisted on serving baked gnome for
New Year's? He said there's no taste like gnome for the holidays.
Roxy is being a sweetheart today!22 Dec 2003 14:31 GMT2
All of a sudden, Roxy is being extremely affectionate today. It started
while I was still in bed - she slept on top of me all night, and whenever
I petted her, she would turn toward me, purr loudly, and nuzzle me. Now
that I'm up and sitting at the computer, she's in been my arms ...
CTS update22 Dec 2003 14:28 GMT7
Well.. it's not CTS but it  could be if I don't behave ;)
I put away my laptop for a few days and was pain free. Today I messed
around with it playing a computer game with lots of mouse movement with
my right forefinger. Same exact pain.
