Today I picked up a bunch of kitty goodies, figuring the kittens might
get a kick out of Christmas and the present thing. In the past Amelia
has enjoyed opening presents, while Cleo has been pretty much unimpressed.
I was sitting on the floor trying to figure out what to wrap up ...

Persia is doing much better.  But she's still terribly jealous of my new
small parrot, Peaches.  I've discovered through reading that Peaches is not
a peachface but rather a Nyasa lovebird.  Tonight I had her out of her cage
(long story) cradled in my hand and was stroking her head. ...

Kowabunga, was I wrong! Thought when motor was going on new treadmill,
frightened cats would zoom under the beds....Hah. I'm walking on the
treadmill belt and they're sitting right in front of me, on the front
housing where the logo is, looking up at me as if the thing's noise is ...

...but it's still 8 minutes to Xmas in Italy so
I'm still in time to wish you all the best Xmas

My Beatles group had a voice chat Sunday afternoon.  My hubby just got me a
microphone, so this was my first chance to try it out.  I joined the
conference - voices began coming out of my computer - and Emily went nuts.
Immediately, she was up in my lap, meowing her head off right ...

I was given a nice calendar by the greengrocer.   I foolishly left it on
the table, all coiled up.   Bonnie has bitten a piece out of January!  
She has also eaten four leaves from a lovely Begonia Rex that John had
bought me.   The B Rex has wonderful leaves but not much in the way ...

Lucy and I wanted to wish all our friends here a wonderful holiday
season.  Lucy will shortly be streched out in front of the fire
purring good wishes to all, and I just may join her :)
