Whatcha' see, Persia?10 Dec 2003 11:46 GMT4
Last weekend it got sort of chilly in the Memphis, TN area.  So I brought in
a couple of logs to build a fire.  There was a ladybug on one of the logs,
which surprised me; I'd figured they'd all be dead by now.  I took the
ladybug and placed it on the one remaining plant I have ...
Cat's Christmas Gift List10 Dec 2003 05:54 GMT11
Fudge, Caramel and Meg have just submitted their lists for me to pass
on to Santa Claws, and wondered what the other kitties in the group
have asked for...
For ours, they are hoping for the following;

Waffles is stoned. The cats got a large "Kissamouse" present the other day and
in it was a large quantity of Cosmic Catnip.
Like, yo dude, like kewl. Like, chill, man. Purr, take it easy ;-)
Oh dear - she is *funny*. In a previous existance she may well have been a

I have a few questions regarding fish keeping....
1. How did you cycle your tank? I have read various methods....including
fishless cycling (using ammonia), fish cycling, and a plant/fish
combination. What, of these, do you think/know/believe to be the best?
Kinda OT...Entertainment for Gizmo09 Dec 2003 23:50 GMT5
I have just got, for Xmas, a tropical fish tank......30 inches, with stand
and all the other paraphernalia that goes with it. It is cat proof....I
think....well, its too heavy for her to knock over (100 odd kg of water in
it), has *heavy* glass lids and a hood (hinged). Though when ...
Tabitha'a new favorite food09 Dec 2003 23:41 GMT19
Tiny Tabitha kitten has enjoyed human food just about the entire time
she's been with us. She normally takes dainty little tastes of whatever
we're eating, being a very proper little lady.
Friday night Nancy and I visited a new Italian restaurant that just
Thank you for the gift Pam & Rob09 Dec 2003 21:26 GMT1
Greetings...
Pam & Rob gifted my kitties with 3 catnip mice when we met up recently.
Well, I couldn't make the furry masters wait until Xmas.  These were the
reactions:
Persia as "Elvis"09 Dec 2003 18:03 GMT6
While getting ready for work this morning I was sitting on the edge of the
bed pulling on my stockings.  Persia was curled up at the end of the bed in
such a way that her face was towards me.  I glanced over and she did this
weird thing with one side of her upper lip, you know, like ...
Peace, finally09 Dec 2003 18:03 GMT9
Good heavens. The cats wanted to play. And play. And play. And play. I'm
tired out. With these guys I still cna't just let them "go". I tried for a
little while and sometimes Grant and Pearl can chase each other without
contact (which can possibly turn into bad news). Well this ...

Ok, now I've seen it all. Psycho just made a huge deposit in her
litterbox. She is known for being aromatic hense her nickname "Poo". And
she is also scared of her own shadow. Well before she had a chance to
"cover it up" she got spooked and ran to the other room. After 5 minutes

I've posted some new pics of Lizzie, starting with "Pretty Lizzie", that we
took with our new Canon EOS 10D (all other pictures of her were taken with
our HP 618).

Please purr for Little Black Kitty RB08 Dec 2003 22:56 GMT16
I am working late and just went down to open the garage from the outside for
a car. Walking along the office building I saw a small black shape very
still on the driveway. I knew it was what I wished it not to be, a little
sweet black feral kitty. She looked all dead, even if she ...
Kitty yawns are so cute08 Dec 2003 22:24 GMT7
As we all know, the most adorable yawn is that from a cat. Cats simply
have the cutest yawns of all animals. The way their whiskers splay out
and they close their eyes halfway is just too precious!
So I feel obliged to give you:
Santa's Deer08 Dec 2003 21:47 GMT2
I have sent this to a couple of my friends and then decided that it was
so funny I would have to share it with ALL of my friends on the ng.
There is another santa card on the site, I am told even funnier than the
first but my stupid computer won't download it.
