Lester - Sudden Crisis12 Dec 2003 01:48 GMT14
It was a nice day today.  Had an unexpected party at work - it was my 30 years
anniversary at the salt mine.  Came home and Lester was in the living room,
somewhat surprisingly, sitting in a stuffed chair.  My wife had taken him in
for the biweekly subcutaneous water, and he had ...
purr request for baby Emma11 Dec 2003 22:22 GMT21
My friend's daughter had an emergency C-section last week, and the baby,
although full term, weighs only two pounds and has serious health problems.
Doctors say she might not make it.
Emily, Pea and Max are purring their brains out for baby Emma, and would
Poinsetta Plants11 Dec 2003 22:18 GMT5
Am I correct in remembering that poinsetta leaves are poisonous to
cats?
I have one that's been dropping leaves in recent days, and Natasha
developed a mild case of diarrhea yesterday. I'm wondering if the two
Good news on the feral front.11 Dec 2003 22:16 GMT3
Well, I got the new little female fixed. She wasn't pregnant, thank goodness. I only had to pay $20, and that included the spaying, rabies shot, and a pain shot for the trip home!!! I love this place! Unless another shows up, ( and another one ALWAYS shows up ) I don't have any ...
You're gonna love this one!11 Dec 2003 09:35 GMT14
I hope you haven't seen this one yet, it's a hoot!
What happens when you have:
1) nothing to do
2) a sharp knife
UPDATE: We need help again!11 Dec 2003 06:48 GMT8
Well...good news! Brat, Linus and I have found a new home...and a new
kitty dad too. I conferred with the boys and the three of us decided
to move in with the man I was seeing. The boys love him dearly...as do
I. Linus, who only ever gave me love bites, also gives Roy love bites.
The Memorial Service11 Dec 2003 04:52 GMT15
was very nice. The chapel was filled with Dianne's friends and family
and the
minister obviously knew Dianne very well - he did mention that he'd
known her since she was 8 y/o. But he knew Dianne - not just a member of
KFW: Belladonna kitty11 Dec 2003 04:46 GMT12
A friend of mine, Frenchy, from another NG has just been adopted by a fuzzy
ball of trouble. She's named him Belladonna the Demon Kitten of Fleet
Street.
Here are some pics:
Snow!!!11 Dec 2003 04:30 GMT10
Finally. A lovely storm. Too bad it wasn't Sunday so I could have enjoyed it
at home. Still, I came home for lunch (I live within sight of work - though
today it wasn't too visible till you got close). I opened the deck door
halfway so Grant could smell the air. He LOVED sitting ...
Simon could use some purrs11 Dec 2003 04:12 GMT33
My ginger moggy Simon could use a few of your purrs at the
moment. He’s 20 years old and for the past year has been on
medication and having regular vet checks for chronic renal
failure. The medication has really helped improve his quality of
Holiday Cards!11 Dec 2003 03:19 GMT15
This is cool!  I'm getting cards from all over and I love it!
However, I think I'll pass next year since the postage alone cost me $30
USD.  It's fun, but I'm not getting writers cramp again next season, okay?
Unless more of you wish to pluck your cats and send fur with your cards  ...
PING: Seanette11 Dec 2003 00:28 GMT1
Anyone heard from Seanette?
How is she?
How is Felix and Avery?
Hows Bob?
Xmas is Coming!!!10 Dec 2003 21:46 GMT3
I am now wondering....why did I put that as the title? Surely everyone is
aware of this by now!!
It is really feeling like Xmas at home now.....I have my bookshelf filled
with cards from all you nice folks here at RPCA and I just put my annual
Lester - Happy Birthday10 Dec 2003 14:02 GMT20
Lester wandered into my home on June 8th, 1988.  The vet figured he was six
months old.  Therefore, today is his 16th birthday.  Guess this isn't the
happiest birthday he's ever had, but at least he is still with us.
He is still pretty scrawny, but hanging in there without any ...
Going to the service10 Dec 2003 11:51 GMT8
I'm leaving in about 1 1/2 hours to attend Dianne's memorial service.
Since I'm trying to get everything done at work I only have time to scan
the newsgroup - so many interesting topics to read and no time to read
them. I'll catch up sometime tonight, but wanted to say that we're ...
