Kitty Fear Factor16 Dec 2003 03:06 GMT54
Persia was chasing something around, I didn't see what it was.  Then she
came walking around from behind her cat cradle and had something in her
mouth.  I looked and saw legs dangling.  Ewww!
She dropped this huge waterbug/palmetto bug onto the carpet; it was still
PING : Pamela Kish Hazellief and Jill McQuown16 Dec 2003 02:27 GMT1
I received a card in the mail today with Pamelas name on the envelope
followed by my address. I figured this to be a simple harmless error
considering the amount of cards that have probably been sent out....so I
opened it.
Lester: RB16 Dec 2003 00:43 GMT35
The night doctor called.  Lester has taken a bad turn for the worse and was
described as being noticably worse than when we brought him in.  He had been
on oxygen and under constant attention in the two hours since we left.
They recommended and asked for permission to euthanize.  ...
Neighbor's bad d*ggy (BW)16 Dec 2003 00:05 GMT5
We are apparently going to have to ask our neighbors to restrain their
d*g, Sally.  I just don't understand it, as she has always been such a
sweetie.  She comes dashing over to visit whenever she sees DH or me
in the yard - DH and I love the visits; Mike, not so much.  But now
Thank you, all of you :)15 Dec 2003 22:33 GMT1
Adrian and I would like to thank everyone who replied to my post about
Fenda, and also to everyone who couldn't think of the right words, but were
thinking of us just the same :)
We've been very lucky indeed, with many friends around us this weekend to
baby Emma - update15 Dec 2003 22:27 GMT7
My friend sends a big thank you for all the purrs for her little
granddaughter.  Emma's future is still uncertain at this point.  She needs
heart surgery - but right now she's not strong enough to survive it.
I'll keep you posted.
Jjohn Rescues Bonnie!15 Dec 2003 22:02 GMT7
You may remember Bonnie having swims in the washing water when a
kitten.   She jumped into a full tub of soapy water (twice) and had to
be rinsed and towelled down.   Now Burmese are supposed to be smart,
right Lois, lol.  Not so.
Happy Holidays and a new car15 Dec 2003 21:56 GMT3
A very happy holiday season to all our friends in the cat world. May you all
have wonderful, prosperous new years.
I've enjoyed all the greeting cards and the photos of the furbabies. I still
think Selena is truly a moon goddess, with the silvery look.
Lacey gets an early present15 Dec 2003 13:22 GMT5
I had to pick up cat food today so I asked the clerk at PetSmart if they
carry any cat videos.  She directed me to a DVD titled, "Cat Sitters".
I bought it for Lacey for Christmas but of course as far as she knows
today *is* Christmas so she got it early.
Gizmo and Fish...Kinda OT15 Dec 2003 13:14 GMT8
Gizmo has finally, after 4 days, discovered the fish tank.....she wasn't
interested in them till this morning when she sat there for AGES just
watching them. Then food distracted her.
And up until 5 minutes ago she was doing the same, and then put both paws up
Status of Hobbes' diet (long sigh!)15 Dec 2003 12:04 GMT8
Some of you may remember that when Hobbes had his annual exam last year
he weighed 22 lbs and TED suggested he needed to lose weight. She wanted
him to weigh 17 lbs by this time.  He went in today for his annual exam
and vacs. He was such a good boy!! He gets so stressed when we ...

Human Purr Request15 Dec 2003 06:29 GMT20
I'm mostly a lurker, but I've seen what the power of purr can do. You guys
and gals have some mighty strong purrs! This request is for my husband and
I. At the beginning of Oct, we found ourselves out of a job (we had both
worked for the same company). Thus far, we have been unable ...
Purr request15 Dec 2003 06:26 GMT7
My brother is a raging lunatic at times and is frequently violent both
towards my immediate family and complete strangers. Last week he was
arrested for beating up a bus driver and is sitting in jail. Prayer
and purrs for him.
10 minutes with THEM15 Dec 2003 06:23 GMT9
I'm a good girl. I got up and after checking my email quick I put
in the tape and started to do my aerobics. Richard Simmons is SOOO
icky!! I had to do my aerobics with the background noise of 15 kittens
clammoring and pawing at the door to be let out. <sigh>
