We need help again...  :-(20 Nov 2003 09:36 GMT25
I asked for and received some really great help and advice from all of
you here just over a month ago, when I needed to escape in a hurry.
Now we need help again. I moved in with a friend of mine and currently
he is trying to gain custody of his kids, so he needs my room for

This morning I awakened to find Emily snuggled up on my left, Max snuggled
up on my right, and Pea curled up on my stomach.
Who needs an electric blanket?

When it rains it pours....20 Nov 2003 00:36 GMT13
We just lost both of our cars. Ok, one was 25 years old and the other was 15. But they were both running fine until they both decided to just up and die.
I have to wait until DH comes home from his office in Boulder, CO until I can look for a new car. Been looking at used Toyotas ...

Christmas card!19 Nov 2003 22:44 GMT1
I got my first card yesterday and I want you all to know how much these
cards warm and delight an ol' lady's heart!
I wish I could mail cards to each of you, but since I can't -- may I be
the first to wish you a happy, healthy, hearty, "catly" holiday season!
Help!!!! Long19 Nov 2003 21:38 GMT18
Very long story shortish... My 17 year old man, Fireball, spent one night in E-room and one night at TED. VERY bad heart murmur, heart rate way too high, heart about 45 to 50% too large, and to top it all off, bad thyroid. He is down 50% body weight from four years ago. Anyway, ...
Purrs Update -Good news, some bad, some ok.19 Nov 2003 18:20 GMT9
He's not out of the woods yet and they won't even  begin to speculate
for another 24-ish hours but there is a bit of good news.
They decided not to ambulance him four hours away, it's too long a
journey and gamble to keep him stabile (or stable?). The ambulance
Who dunnit?!19 Nov 2003 17:11 GMT10
I've never recieved a holiday card PRIOR to Thanksgiving. Unfortunately I
don't recognize the name.. Lisa, Beauregard, Alacrity and Puddy Paddy....
????  I feel appropriately shameful for not recognizing you.
Now fess up so I can make sure you're on my list!
Trouble brewing for the Touchstone kitties (long)19 Nov 2003 13:26 GMT9
There may be trouble brewing here now that Rocky has decided he wants
to be a lapcat.
First, Little Bit has never been thrilled that Rocky has been invited
into her house, though she seemed resigned to his presence as long as
Berfert Feels Much Better!!!!!19 Nov 2003 07:20 GMT13
We took Berfert back to TED today for a check back, but we knew before
now that he is doing much better.  He hates the taste of amoxicillin,
but only needed two of us to medicate him at first.  Last night, we had
four of us holding the little guy in place.  He also gained 2 oz since
HazelAZ19 Nov 2003 05:59 GMT77
Has anybody heard from Hazel lately?  It has been some time since I've
seen a post from her.  At that time her husband was threatening her and
her cats, and she was trying to save up enough to move out.  I hope she
and the cats are safe.
Thank you all.19 Nov 2003 05:28 GMT1
Just want to say thank you for all the purrs and advice. You have been so good to this lurker. Fireball just finished his ham, baby food, and almost all of the canned cat food. His own little buffet. Dry food is down at all times, but his teeth are not great so I don't know how ...
A giggle19 Nov 2003 05:25 GMT1
Overheard a few moments ago: "Ewww, Eve you stink and you're coming my way!"
Abi was on the sofa and her baby sister wanted up close and personal time with
her, complete with biological warfare.

TED visit19 Nov 2003 05:21 GMT33
I had to take Frank in for another blood test to check his thyroid levels. I
really hope this was the last time I have to take him in for a long time,
because it breaks my heart to see him so terrified. He really hates those
pricking needles.
Purrs for Lacey19 Nov 2003 05:20 GMT24
I know I haven't been responding to post much lately but we have been
checking the list for requests for purrs and sending them out. Now I'm
here requesting purrs for Lacey. Today we noticed she isn't opening her
left eye. She's rubbing it a lot as well. She'll go to TED tomorrow ...
