Upper Respiratory Infection21 Nov 2003 09:23 GMT30
First, Lola's upset tummy, then her bee sting and now this, an upper
respiratory infection ... all within the course of a week.  According to the
handwritten chicken-scratch on the label, her doctor has given her something
called (winging it here) "Baytril?" which she started on ...
Rosie is an absolute dear21 Nov 2003 05:45 GMT9
Rosie is growing up to be the most amazing cat.  She has decided that I need taken
care of and is doing her best.  When I use the bathroom, she comes in and
demonstrated proper litter box use.  She joins me in the bathtub and sits or lies
down on any parts that aren't underwater. ...
the wind-up mouse21 Nov 2003 05:28 GMT2
Today we bought a wind-up mouse for the cats - and got the following
reactions to it:
Max pursued it all over the house - bopping and batting it around, and
trying to bite its spinning tail.
yay, happy dance was Accident21 Nov 2003 03:41 GMT16
He's off the respirator/life support system.
He's still critical but chances are very very slim that he won't make it
through this. We'll have our cute kidlet back :)
If you ask me, I'm expecting a marriage proposal to come out of this between
Tiffany is in hospital.21 Nov 2003 03:37 GMT34
Could I have purrs for Tiffy, please? Poor little thing was straining to go
to the litterbox this morning. She was going every two minutes and only
doing a few drops each time. She's been off her food the past few days but
wasn't straining at the litterbox until today. I did however ...
Potential good news for Pirate21 Nov 2003 03:20 GMT13
Keep purring, everyone; I have a prospect for what seems may be a good home
for Pirate.  I haven't been online much recently because I've been
concentrating on this (with much encouragement from the purrs here and also
from Megan) every free moment the past 10 days -- flyers, ...
A Few More Weeble Piccies21 Nov 2003 03:17 GMT8
I've added a few more (silly) piccies to Weeble's second Webshots album.

I wanted to thank everyone for their purrs & well-wishes to rid Weeble of
that lump on his leg - it has shrunken considerably since last Thursday.
Poor Me20 Nov 2003 23:17 GMT12
Apparently I have fleas, well, so my meowmie says. She told me last night I
will be getting a bath this weekend. I don't like baths. Won't someone come
and rescue me and save me from this potential torture? They aren't that bad
really....and REALLY....I think I can put up with the ...

Maverik - Her stories & a few photos20 Nov 2003 22:20 GMT14
Wanted to share some stories and photos from Maverik. A few photos to
start things off: http://www.xirr.com/~roberts/pictures1.html ,
hopefully I'll get some better ones scanned in.
Physically she's a typical mid-atlantic barn cat. You see cats on the
Mice 2, Bruiser 120 Nov 2003 22:07 GMT3
Bruiser killed his first mouse last night.  It looks like he ate it as
well.  I couldn't find its body but did find some blood.  I was trying to
get him in to go to bed and found he had caught one.  It was still alive
then and he took off with it in his mouth when Maya and me ...
Those purrs are really somethin'!20 Nov 2003 21:41 GMT3
Yep, those good vibrations worked yet again.  Apart from an occasional "achoo,"
Lola is recovering beautifully.  Thanks to everyone who offered up
encouragement and good wishes.  It's so comforting to know there's a place to
go whenever her mommy gets tangled up in worry.
Having a bad 2420 Nov 2003 20:15 GMT6
Yesterday morning I noticed my Powerbook was not charging.  Now about 10
months ago I clumsily managed to step on the end of AC adapter that plugs
into the computer.  Repeated surgery with a pair of needle nosed plyers
has kept it working this long but emergency surgery failed ...
Purrs for Dusty please20 Nov 2003 19:34 GMT34
I had to take the furbag back to TED today.  His eye just isn't healing up.
After 1 week of goop in the eye 3 times a day it is much better but he is still
squinty and the membranes are red.  So now TED gave me a script for eye drops.
Had to fill them at my pharmacy.  These need to ...
Popcorn20 Nov 2003 16:57 GMT9
This seems strange to me but Bruiser likes popcorn.  I discovered it when
I knew I had dropped a few and when I went looking for them only found
Bruiser staring at me.  Next time I gave him a few.  I can't sit down
with some without him begging.  Four good size kernals seems to ...
