| I caught him!!! Long | 25 Nov 2003 20:19 GMT | 3 |
Well, living in the country has it's drawbacks. There is a neon sign on my roof "THE CRAZY LADY FEEDS STRAYS" I have two indoor cats, one indoor/outdoor cat, and one neutered stray that is now mine. I already caught two ferals and took them to our low cost spay and neuter clinic ...

Lisa and Liz.. thanks for the cards! I simply must get mine out.. maybe tomorrow at work, LOL. Liz sent some kitty fur and Patrick, Bob and Nancy were unimpressed. Moose tried to eat it and Moogie was seen dragging the card around a little bit

After much resisting of kitten fever (and wanting to wait until we were over the grief of losing Tigger), my partner and I took the plunge. A brown tabby kitten with white chest and boots (tentatively named Sneakers) will come live with us later this week. He's about 4 months old ...

| Harvey, questions and such | 25 Nov 2003 01:09 GMT | 6 |
When I wake up early and wander into the kitchen for food, soda, water, ninja weapons or the such, Harvey is always right there, yelling at me. I don't get it. He has food and water. What's he yelling at me for?

| Purrs for Dot G. | 25 Nov 2003 00:26 GMT | 19 |
Dot Gerecke is suffering a flare-up ofher fibromyalgia and as such, is in alot of pain. I was trusting that, as part of the "We support Patty, Liz, Dot & Senyah" crowd, we could some purrs over to her, especially while Dave is away.

Mike is under the gun. He either has to have a job, have arranged to enter some sort of school, or be accepted into the Job Corps before the 24th. He's been playing with it for some time now. He realized the other day that both Rob and I are serious this time. He's been

| Rugby | 24 Nov 2003 20:08 GMT | 1 |
I played bridge over the weekend, and did not watch the rugby - far too early in the morning. Very kindly, no-one told me about it, and I watched my video of it 36 hours later. Phew!

| I'd like to join this group | 24 Nov 2003 18:51 GMT | 15 |
This is my first message. The first one I read was "Goodbye Dear Tigerness" by Mark Edwards. This got me hooked. Mark writes beautifully. His message was sad, but made me feel good at the same time. I would like to begin with a question. I have a strictly house cat that

| More Presto stories | 24 Nov 2003 18:44 GMT | 2 |
First of all, thanks to all of you who sent condolences, purrs, and such. They are very much appreciated. Presto was a very good cat, and his spirit lives on in my heart. When Presto was about two years old, we had an apartment that faced

| Duffy - champion climber | 24 Nov 2003 15:50 GMT | 13 |
My brother and sister-in-law are visiting this weekend. I live in Texas and they live in Pennsylvania, so this was my sister-in-law's first opportunity to See Duffy. She "oohed" and "awwed" properly over both of my cats, but they especially wanted to see Duffy climb the cat tree ...

| "Ghost Cat" movie | 24 Nov 2003 14:49 GMT | 21 |
The movie "Ghost Cat" on Animal Planet played again yesterday, and I was able to tape it this time. If anyone wants to borrow the tape, just drop me an e-mail. That is, anyone with an NTSC tv rather than PAL.

| Lester: Update | 24 Nov 2003 10:48 GMT | 12 |
The sugeon called while I was out, as always on weekend mornings, with the bicycle club. My wife took the call. Apparently Lester is not only doing well, but substantially better than expected. He's demanding affection from everyone, and has eaten a little bit
