The Evil Hand03 Nov 2003 03:12 GMT11
I stopped in at CVS yesterday to check out the after-Halloween sales on
candy and stuff. Amongst the icky candy and broken halloween makeup, I found
THE EVIL HAND. It's a toy hand, about the size of a large man's hand with a
wrist covered by a cut-off sleeve. It's made of hard ...
I am a evil human ...03 Nov 2003 01:04 GMT6
I am. I am evil, uncaring and unthinking of my cats needs.
The poor beasties are howling to be outside and I won't let them today.
The fact that it is blowing a gale out there, hissing it down, and it's the
time when fireworks are let off, is neither here nor there. I am ...
Ungrateful lizzard03 Nov 2003 01:03 GMT12
Maya caught a lizzard this afternoon. I could tell because she was
growling at all the other cats, like she does when she has either prey
or very yummy food... :)
I chased her around the house, trying to see if the lizzard was still
My cats do what they want02 Nov 2003 23:22 GMT32
Help !
I have 3 cats and they don´t obey. They always walk over the table,
"steal" my bed and bring living mice (or birds, rabbits, worms) into my
house.
Dave G in USA - purrs needed.02 Nov 2003 22:33 GMT21
I am forwarding this message on from Dave Gerecke, as he's too busy to post
right now.
If you could meet up with him, even for a few minutes, he'd be delighted.
But even if you can't, purrs for his father to come through the surgery with
B & C - and Daddy Duck02 Nov 2003 20:44 GMT15
I went through the back gate and walked under the poplars to look at the
creek.   It's almost duckling time and Daddy Drake was patrolling up and
down the waterway.
I turned around.   B & C were creeping through the grass behind me
Poor Nikki...02 Nov 2003 15:30 GMT11
... she is being teased by a small birdie, who keeps flitting about outside
the glass panes on the balcony. I first noticed it when there was a flurry
of movement and noise out there, as Nikki jumped from the shelf to the cat
tree. I suspect that she bumped her head against the ...
Purrs for Fez and Rufous02 Nov 2003 11:02 GMT21
It's hard to believe it's been 5 months already since the not-so-little
ones came into our lives! They're scheduled for their neutering tomorrow
morning, so we would appreciate any purrs you might be able to spare. I'll
be worried sick all day, and will probably call TED's office ...
B & C - Their first Mouse!02 Nov 2003 05:26 GMT12
I felt sad when I found the mouse, its little body all chewed up on the
floor.   They had taken one ear off completely and it was munched up in
little bits.   The tail was completely chewed and wet, horrible.  I
cradled it gently in my hands, it was so beautiful and fragile.
Lacey is a TV addict02 Nov 2003 02:14 GMT11
Hobbes and Selena have in the past acknowledged that there is a
television in our house. Selena is mostly frightened of it and
periodically Hobbes thinks it makes interesting noises (birds, crickets,
etc), but Lacey watches it. We have a 54" Sony with the screen over the
Poor little Brio ...02 Nov 2003 02:14 GMT18
... slipped off the top of a TV and fell over the iron railing and down the
basement stairs about an hour ago. 8-(   She's played a bit and eaten some
since then and now she's settling down to sleep on my bed. I think she hurt
her shoulder area because she licked and scratched there ...
SH*T!!!  Purr Request02 Nov 2003 01:16 GMT33
I'd hoped not to have to write this for several years.  Rascal, Mandy's
Boyfriend's (Jim) cat, seems to have started her trip to the bridge.
She's 13 and not used to being a member of such a large cathold as ours
is, so has spent most of her time on top of the fridge or on the
Yowie - Purrs for a fine day with excellent weather!01 Nov 2003 22:59 GMT14
Congrats on the big day! All of us here are purring that you'll have a
wonderful day with perfect weather. May this be the first day of a very
long, joyous journey together.

Happy Halloween!!!01 Nov 2003 22:49 GMT5
Hope you all had a good All Hallow's Eve (for those who are in a country
that celebrates it). I've posted some pics of me and DH in our costumes as
well as a new one of The Moose and her kitty, Moogie.

Update on Pirate01 Nov 2003 19:51 GMT20
Pirate has now been at TEDs for a week, recovering from his badly bitten ear
and getting neutered.  He is FIV+, unfortunately, but not a huge surprise
considering how battlescarred he is.  Meanwhile he is warming up to people
as he's being boarded.  Please purr for him that my ...
