Little sneakers, our 4-6 month old kitten, unexpectedly was able to be picked
up last night!  This is the tale (or is that tail?):

Well, I've been pretty caught up in caring for cat and sick kid stuff this
week but here's where things are so far:
Last Sunday, I visited Pirate's potential new home and I feel pretty hopeful
that it'll be a good place for him.  We set up a time for doing the kitty

Appreciate all the concern, folks...this is a fairly serious sickness.
Got to the vet last night with little trouble, somewhat surprisingly, and
received lessons on tube-feeding.  Got him home by about 7 pm.  He was fairly
teetery, but staggered to his favorite coverered litter ...

Since I trapped/adopted Samuel kitten in July and we're in southern
California, Sammy has never really known cold. The weather has been
getting cooler, though - down into the 30's F at night. Sammy has
learned that curling up with his humans is a good way to stay

ho ware all you coping with the christmas cards.. my hands are all cramped
and im only 10 cards just signed, not addressed or anything,
between work being soo busy cutting hair, my hands are gonna need a break
when im done!!

As usual, we went to mt dad's house for Thanksgiving. We always stock
up the catfood and water so that the cats have plenty while we are
gone overnight.
Well, this is the first year that Little Feet hasn't had Presto around

Honor DarkStar has joined the ranks of mighty huntresses.  About a week
ago, she attacked and killed Mike's shark pillow.  It is about 3.5 feet
long and fairly realistic looking.  Mike had put it on the back of the
hide a bed in the living room, and Honor took exception to it.  She

There are so many needing purrs and kind thoughts and wishes that I felt
overwhelmed and decided to send out what we've got in one big firey
burst.  
Purrs and get well, home, better, happy, and any other need taken care

I can't stay but a minute.  Just wanted to tell all of you Happy
Thanksgiving.  I hope all of you will have a great day with friends and
loved ones.  Hope you eat LOTS of good food and then fall asleep for a
nap with your tummy full.  I'm sure all of us have LOTS to be thankful

Harvey's mom had to leave for a while again (everything's fine with all of
Harvey's slaves) and Harvey is Pissed. Off.
How gauche that the Other Humans have to serve him now.
But the sting of me serving His Holiness was mollified a bit when I was smart

In the evenings when I get home, I usually go outside and call for
Buster, who likes to stay in until we go to bed.
Truth be known, he likes to stay inside *after* we go to bed too. In
fact, the last couple of nights, he has been giving me puppy-dog eyes

I got the job.
I can not express how happy I am! Thank you so much for all your thoughts,
prayers and purrs. Sesame and I are passing those along to everyone else who
needs them.

I have just uploaded new photos of Gizmo to the RPCA yahoo groups site. They
are in a folder called "Gizmo" and start with the bath photos (wet kitty).
Also, she is taking the tablets OK....she seems resigned to the fact now.
Especially knowing she gets her favorite, chicken, ...
