Fell asleep on the couch...04 Nov 2003 00:36 GMT2
... and Persia climbed up on my back and fell asleep on my back!  I woke up
to a purring snoozing cat on my back and I didn't want to move for fear of
disturbing her.  I finally did shift and she moved down next to me.  Purr,
purr, purr.  I love this cat!

Clyde - King of the Foodbowl03 Nov 2003 18:30 GMT13
I wonder if this is a 'male' thing.   Clyde is at the top of the food
chain and makes no bones about it.   Feeding time goes something like
this.
Biscuits rattle into into the dish in front of FSP.   She prefers
Phoebe's gang of TEN and other news03 Nov 2003 18:19 GMT2
Phoebe?s kittens are seven weeks old today, they have grown so much in the
last couple of weeks, they are eating solid food, using the toilet tray and
I have stopped supplementary feeding them, the littlest girl (Isabella
Petal) the one I was so worried about weighed in this morning ...
Oh my God Bruiser's on fire! (he's not hurt)03 Nov 2003 18:17 GMT29
I was feeding Bruiser and Maya some tuna just a few minutes ago when
Bruiser brushed up near a lit candle and his fur caught on fire.  He
never even realized he was on fire but a patch of fur was burning.  It
looked like he had a zippo lighter burning on his flank near his tail.  ...
B & C & FSP - Deo Strikes Again03 Nov 2003 18:03 GMT5
It was a bright sunny morning and the gang all rushed outside to explore
and chase birds and butterflies.   Not for long.
There was a frightful noise.   I rushed to the back door - nothing
there.   I rushed to the front door.   Poor FSP was hanging from the top
Job Purrs Too?03 Nov 2003 18:03 GMT16
Might I share in some of those job purrs too?
I'm not unemployed yet, but it seems layoffs are coming, and you all
know about "last in, first out".
OTOH, Natasha seems *much* improved. I'm actually looking forward to
Job Purrs needed03 Nov 2003 18:03 GMT18
A month ago my DH got laid off and he still hasn't found a new job. Job
hunting purrs would be appreciated. In the past he has found a new job
in less than 2 weeks.

A message to RPCA from CATherine03 Nov 2003 18:03 GMT20
CATherine sent me this message to relay to you all. Everyone seems to be
having problems with their connections now. Swen has a lot to answer for. We
are sending purrs for Buddy and Emanuel to be reunited soonest, and for
Catherine to get back online soon. I, for one, can't wait for ...

introducing...03 Nov 2003 18:03 GMT8
Hi, all - got back home late last night with new kitten in tow.  He's on my
lap, purring, as I type this.  Later I'll post the story of our trip and how
his first night in his new home went.  Right now I just want to introduce:
Max!
Pirate's back03 Nov 2003 11:19 GMT10
Well, yesterday I brought Pirate back home from the vet's; I hesitate to say
"home" because I really wish I could offer him more and I feel badly about
it.  I'd spent a couple of hours trying to make him a fairly sheltered box
for him to sleep in on my patio.  When I let him out of ...
Damn, this s**t is getting old...03 Nov 2003 04:30 GMT32
Doesn't the bad crap ever stop?
Just in the last month, we've had the following events to cope with:
* My wife's contract job ends
* My mom went for surgery for breast cancer (lumpectomy)
Honor Darkstar03 Nov 2003 03:34 GMT17
A couple of days ago, we went to TEDs for flea, tick, and ear mite
medicines.  When we walked in, one of the receptionists said "Just the
people we were hoping for."  Someone had brought in a litter of five
seven week old kittens.  Three, two white boys with blue eyes and yellow
