Our Wild Pet Is Gone13 Sep 2003 05:35 GMT7
The other day Gloria came over to help me move a desk. Her 4 dogs always
follow along and wait in the yard while she visits. When she was leaving I
walked with her to the gate, where we saw her dog Abram shaking the little
skunk that's been coming in my house.

Ahoy mateys and those awaiting our return,
I would have had this put out sooner, but the fat wench had scheduling

I am so sorry to hear that your foreign minister has died from the stabbing
that occurred the other day.  I hope officials are able to catch the person
responsible.

Willie the caretaker12 Sep 2003 13:16 GMT8
Although Willie is a great companion he doesn't do much that anyone else
might notice, not a lap cat for instance (neither was Max tho) but he
sometimes has an effusive greeting for me when I get home, and often
In times of deepest  despair...12 Sep 2003 07:22 GMT26
When I hurt the most,  cry the most, love the most,  I come here - to  you,
the cat people,  who understand what it is to lose a friend.
Today I said goodbye to Mr Fast,  my  grey tabby  boy,  aged  20.
He came into my life at about one year old,  he moved into my garden then
Misc purrs requested11 Sep 2003 22:57 GMT29
We've got a couple of issues that could use purrs and meatloafs this time.
First, my mom goes into the hospital tomorrow. She's been diagnosed with
breast cancer, and is going in for a lumpectomy. The doctor is very
confident that the lump is well-defined and contained, but it's ...

Need "Sticking" purrs11 Sep 2003 11:41 GMT6
I took the advice of someone near and dear to us here and hung some
signs to try and find a home for one of the strays in my b/y that has
become very friendly and needy of a home (he has been trying to get in
mine).  I think something happened to him recently to make him so
The longest night .......11 Sep 2003 05:15 GMT7
Well, tonight's the night Vera & Lola begin relearning to eat on their own.
This hand-feeding stuff has gotten out of control and i really want to begin
getting them on a regular feeding schedule.  So far, i'm incredibly depressed
... because they're depressed.  They keep looking ...

Lucky and his Lady11 Sep 2003 03:59 GMT13
Many years ago, a lady acquired a young Husky-chow. They very quickly
bonded. The lady has MS and spends her time in an electric wheelchair.
Lucky learned to watch his feet as he accompanied his lady on walks.
One day the lady had to go the corner market and left Lucky chained in
Is it trust or a balance problem?11 Sep 2003 02:21 GMT5
Little Samuel R kitten has an interesting balance problem!
I know that he is quite capable of maintaining himself on an even keel.
THe evening that I trapped him, after I set out the trap I sat in the
truck and watched the big hedge where I had set it. A couple minutes
Feud (Long)10 Sep 2003 22:57 GMT10
I tell you, these neighbors of mine are nuts! The other day Mac managed
to dig under the fence, run over to the neighbor's house, and take a big
dump in their front yard right in the path to the front door.
When the neighbor came home from work that evening, he noticed Mac and
Moogie - Day 310 Sep 2003 18:06 GMT3
Well, today was the first day Moogie was left home alone. We left him snug
and safe in my bathroom, with a nice clean litterbox and a full plate of
food. In there he'd be safe from The Moose and other hazards a little kitty
can get into. Alas, when DH got home from work, the ...
