Gem Gets Real Toys28 Aug 2003 05:39 GMT6
Lenny and I were shopping for the necessities of life this
afternoon.  After stocking up on pudding, cheese, spinach and vodka, we
found ourselves in the pet aisle.  Standing in front of the cat toys.
Our three adult cats don't seem to care that much for toys... they'd
FLIPPY - Trouble with your email address.28 Aug 2003 05:26 GMT6
Hi, Cat Lovers and Adventurers!
I apologise for the interruption.  I need to get a message to
Flippy and cannot do so through the usual channels as mail
to his email addie is bouncing back rudely at me.  Oh ...
Guilty Cat28 Aug 2003 04:56 GMT2
A Case of the Guilty Cat
Last night I was awoken at some ungodly hour by a "galloping sound".....so I
naturally went to investigate what exactly Gizmo had destroyed this time.
Unfortunately she heard me before I got to see what she was upto but she had
Lambchop: Update27 Aug 2003 00:17 GMT1
Well, it was just a week ago that I brought Lambchop to her new home.
I told the guy that I'd call in a week to touch base and see how it
was going, so I called him today, and he's happy with her! :) He doesn't
mind that she's not cuddly, he said that after being alone for so long,
Six Feet Under episode26 Aug 2003 17:51 GMT1
Any Six Feet Under fans here? This is a TV series on a cable station. I
don't get that station, so I've never seen it, but a friend of mine just
got a DVD with the entire first season - 12 episodes - so we've been
watching them 3 at a time.
Gray Cats turn Gray?26 Aug 2003 14:52 GMT8
Persia was probably 3 years old when she adopted me.  The vet guessed, based
on looking at her teeth.  So that would make her now 5-1/2.
I've noticed when she rolls over on her back, she has grey (white-ish) fur
on her belly.  Her front paws also seem to be getting a tad lighter.  ...
Callisto's retirement news (long)26 Aug 2003 03:27 GMT4
>Yesterday Callisto Ritter, champion bringer upper of dishtowels,
(as you may recall, she brings every dish towel she can find up to my
bedroom every night) made a shocking announcement of her sudden
retirement.    When questioned, she merely gave a disdainful snif and
Photos of Hobbes, Selena and Lacey26 Aug 2003 02:27 GMT8
I have put some new photos of Hobbes, Selena and Lacey in a new Yahoo
folder. I'm hoping I've done this right. They can be seen at:

There are a series of Hobbes and Lacey wrestling on evening this week as
Mouse 2, Bruiser 025 Aug 2003 22:22 GMT1
I suddenly saw Bruiser sprinting away in hot pursuit of something.  He
returned with something in his mouth and threw it down to the ground.  As
it scurried away I realized that it was awful big and moving very quickly
to be a bug.  I got up from my chair and realized it was ...
Slow-motion fight25 Aug 2003 22:03 GMT6
The other day, the cats were having one of their fights. The funniest one
I've seen for a long time (they play-fight, never hurt each other).
It started with the usual stare match - who dares to stare longer at the
other. The one who looks away loses. Heads down, ears back, glaring ...
Tough Decisions25 Aug 2003 21:49 GMT11
I have a really tough decision to make and maybe could use some purrs and prayers for
guidance.  Our tiny poodle is almost 16 years old.  Her twin sister died several
months ago.
She has had heart trouble for several years but the medicine controls it.  She is

Feeding dilemma25 Aug 2003 19:22 GMT11
I'm at a loss what to do.  Skeeter almost never eats anything but dry
food.  Lindy eats (or has eaten in the past) both wet and dry food.
Lindy gets very picky at times, and at one time I kept a record of
everything I fed her and how much of it she ate, so I could be sure to
The Name25 Aug 2003 19:03 GMT2
"Merlin". Boy or girl, that's going to be The Kitten's name.
For now anyway... :)

Website Advice needed, please25 Aug 2003 14:27 GMT7
Pine Cone was so upset that no one was posting his adventures on the net
that I decided to turn his earthstink website totally over to him and
his varied fantasy life.
Well, we have a problem.  Earthstink has a new site builder, and the
