Because I wasn't hungry last night, the kittens have decided I must be sick. So they went to bed with me and cuddled up close.
Every time I woke up (due to tails brushing my face or whiskers up my nose). Brother and Sister were both in my face - "Are you okay? Are you still sick? Here, let us help. We'll purr for you. We'll rub up against you. We'll let you pet us!"
I think they are just a little too enthusiastic to be nurse kitties just yet, although they seem to have just the right touch for hospital nurses ("here, wake up and take this sleeping pill").
Still, it was nice to know that the bratlings were so concerned over my lapse in appetite (big grin), and were willing to pull the night shift.
In fact, when I woke up this morning, Brother all but told me "night shift is over - call your day nurse." Poor me - abandoned by my bestest nurses...
Hugs and Purrs, Mark
