We has Burgundy Van

tanadashoes03 Oct 2007 17:55
Well, it is going to cost a bundle but we (and the finance company)
are the bemused but proud owners of an 02 Burgundy Dodge Grand
Caravan.  She doesn't have all the bells and whistles, but it has most
of them.  I've been told that it is one of the easier vans to equip
for a handicapped rider, which was a factor in our decision.

We have agreed that She is a very feminine van so now we have to come
up with a name for her.  Most of you know us.  We cannot stand to
leave our autos un-named.  So I'm asking for ideas.

We also could use purrs and good thoughts for a little calico cat that
Rob's CNA and her boyfriend are trying to catch and we are going to
foster until she has been vetted and has gained enough weight to go to
a no kill shelter.  I'm heart broken.  We have enough cats that we
don't feel as though we could give her the TLC that we're working to
give our current owners.  However, I love calicos.  I want one.  I'm
trying to be practical here, and it is hard.

We could also use purrs and healthy thoughts and wishes for daughter
Amanda.  Monday, Mandy's right eye looked like someone had socked
her.  It looks better now, but we (and apparently the doctor) think
she has a blocked tear duct.  It hurts her first thing in the morning
but improves as the day goes on.  She won't sleep sitting up as I
suggested and is a little strange about following the doctor's
instructions about using hot compresses on it.

Am sending out purrs and good thoughts for those who want or need
them, though I'm not posting such.

Love to all,

Pam S.
