For some reason my cat always tries to drink out of my water glass next to
my bed. I have a couple of other place with water for him, even one with
running water. He insists on trying to drink out of my glass even if it
almost empty. Does anyone know why this is so? Thanks

That is the one he has chosen.
I've got a friend who has a cat that will only drink out of a dixie
cup on the bathroom counter.
Sabrina used to only drink out of the pool. Now I've finally gotten
her to drink out of a dish in the bathroom.
My stepmom's cat used to jump into the bathroom sink, lay down, you
turned the water on and that is how he would drink.
Cats are pecular that way.

My cat likes to drink out of a plastic beaker filled to capacity
and placed in the bath, and drinking water and a little milk

My cats like to drink out of a plastic Windex bottle, it keeps their
fur nice and shiny! They also like to hang around the bathroom toilet
to drink and be urinated on. I also like to spray the little darlings
down with my wifes hairspray whilst having a roaring fire in the
fireplace, where they like to stretch out on the hearth. *POOF* it
keeps them warm!

My cat always wanted to drink out of my favorite glass too. I got her her
own and it's worked great for 8 years!

consider yourself lucky.. one of mine likes drinking water out of a bottle
of water.. yes.. the mouth of the bottle is way too narrow for her to get
anything unless she knocks it over.. its very frustrating.. I can't leave a
bottle unattended for more than a second..
