I'm always coming up with names for my foster kittens, it could be anything
from a physical feature or just a name I like. I've had BlackToe (feet were
white but one toe was black), Oscar, Jasmine, Cole, Fruit Stripe (juicy
fruit zebra). Names could be anything, depends on my mood, cat's
personality (hard to tell being newborns). Do you have a friend that has a
child, kids would probably love to name them.

Awww, how nice to have a new bunch of furballs! They'll probably name
themselves, more or less, either by their appearance or their
purrsonalities. I like the idea (although I've not done it myself) of
naming cats after authors or artists.

Thanks for all the tips on cat naming.

My dear white part-Siamese who lived to be 21 years old, was named Phoebe
Snow. I always liked her namesake's voice (remember "Mr. Poetry Man?") and
I was looking for something that depicted her total white coat. She was
always Phoebe Snow, never just Phoebe.

Perfect name for her. Siamese (and usually part Siamese) have a wonderful
vocal range -- and of course her color as well. I most definitely remember
Mr. Poetry Man.
Twenty-one is a ripe old age for a cat. Congratulations to you for the
excellent care you provided, and to her ancestors for the good genes. And I
like that you always used her full name.
May your memories of Phoebe Snow keep her always with you.
