Hi all..

I have been looking into getting this vacuum cleaner for months, does anyone
on this NG have this?  My 2 cat leave hair all over the place and my current
vacuum is ok, but I hear this one is really good, but it expensive, but if
it does the job, might be worth the money...anyone have any thoughts on this
vacuum?

I don't have the vacuum, but it does look like a good machine.  I have read
a number of reviews on www.epinions.com -- you might want to check it out.
There are other Dyson models, but this one looked like the best.  I read a
complaint on another NG concerning the difficulty of converting to the
attachments on the basic model (not the Animal model).

I've got one & prefer my old Numatic instead.
The dyson is fine on dust & short hair but flicks cat litter everywhere.

i think its wonderful. i have 2 cats one of which is long haired andit icks it up well. the brushed do need cleaned regularly thoug. it even makes a good job picking up the catlitter on kitchen floor
