I started by putting it a distance from me at first and letting them eat all the while
talking to them and every so many days moving the food a little closer. It may take a
while but patience will win out. Another thing I did that I read in one of the groups was
to toss (SP) them bits food such as lunch meat or such and keep working that closer and
closer. It took me about a week and a half and some started taking it from my hand.
Eventually they will come to see that you mean food and mean them no harm. Just do not
make any sudden moves or loud noise or you may undo several days work with them.
Between me, my ex & my mother-in-law we have taken in 17 / 18 strays and rehome 6 or 7 so
far. It just takes lots of patince and work but is so worth it.
Do you think they are the female's kitten and are you trying to catch them or what?? If
you just want them to eat leave the food out for them and let them eat.

GREAT advice.. I recommend it. I also recommend trying to catch the kittens
and bring them in to socialize them so they can be homed, as opposed to
leaving them to fend in the wild. Contact your local animal control officer
about a have a heart trap..
