I adopted a cat from a local animal control shelter a few weeks ago.
Their vet noticed one of the lobes of her liver was enlarged.  After a
week of quarantine we finally got the biopsy results and they seemed
to point to diabetes.  She then spent a day at my vet getting tests.
We have really lucked out and they seem to think she injested
something toxic while she was homeless but that she will eventually
get it all out of her system and be fine.  They also treated her for
ear mites and she is much more comfortable now.  So except for $300 in
vet bills everyone is great.

I really appreciate everyone here who takes the time to listen/read
and give feedback here.

Thanks again,
Dawn and Pounce, Blade, Jazz, & Toast

That's great news, Dawn!  May she enjoy a long and happy life under your
care.  :-)
