What purebreed cat fetches the highest price? I am interested in breeding
them and making extra money on the side. I heard some breeds sell for 2000
dollars! is this true and if it is what breed is it?

extra money is hardly a reason to get yourself in over your head breeding
animals!
there's a lot of work invovled and animals require lots of tlc whether you
plan to keep them all to yourself or not. no matter what the payout i think
its a bad idea for you to do this unless you truely have an interest in
purebred cats and can dedicate a large part of your life to caring for them
and finding appropriate homes for them and judging by your post i should say
that you dont sound like you have a genuine interest...sorry

Actually it is pretty easy selling them all you need to do is buy a
purebreed couple and sell the offsprings at a lower price, ie if purebred
siamese sell for 500 sell yours for 350 and advertise them. I do this and
make about 4-5k a year extra. All you need is cages and dry food+ water to
keep costs down.

Put it this way, what ever the breed is I can only hope for cats well
being that the breeders of that breed refuse to sell you any breeding
cats...
