Hi all,
I've quite new here and only posted once or twice but I do enjoy reading the
messages posted here.
I have a question though, We got our cat Charlie from the local Shelter here
in Wales back last year. She's is totally deaf and nightblind so we keep her
indoors.
Are there any vitamin tablets or such that we should be giving her at all?
We've bought Kitty Grass but she just turns her nose up at it but when we do
take her out on the lead she spends most of the eating the grass outside.
An information on this matter would be grately appriciated.
Lisa.

We've got just two cats out of our twelve that go out (or used to, we've
just moved and on the adivce of our vet we're trying not to let them out
due to the high rate of FIV in the area) and ours really don't get
anything extra other than good quality cat food (leaving out what ever
the little buggers steal from our plates, the fridge, shopping while we
unpack it etc).
So unless your vet recommends she has any supplements due to any
health/age related conditions providing you give her good quality cat
food I'd say no...

my vet gave silky taurine when her eyesite started to go but as it is now
found in most cat foods ithere is not much point.
my cats have always preferred the grass outside so like you i just put
silky on her lead and took her out. the two i have now are too scared to go
out but are so happy inside with their toys
