My cat Moe is urinating outside of his litterbox again. I'll give a little
background for those who don't remember my original post. I adopted my
about three years ago. He is 3.5 years old. He is neutured and has his
claws. He is a 100% indoor cat and he doesn't like to go outside anyway.
Up until I painted my basement about 3 months ago he was the perfect cat.
Always went to the litterbox. Once we started painted the basement, which
doubles as a great room he got really upset and started urinating ALL over
the house including my son's bed, which is also where he sleeps. We locked
him in a bathroom for a couple of weeks at the suggestion of our vet who
checked him out, he had no physical issues. The problem is that he is
starting to do it again, but only in the basement. I was going throug some
book on a bookshelf and he urinated on a stack of laundry. He also went
inside a filing cabinet, when I left the drawer open. Our lifestyle is too
busy and our house has too many things he can ruin if he keeps this up. We
love him dearly and don't want to get rid of him, but I don't know if we
will have an option if he keeps doing this. PLEASE give us some
suggestions, it breaks our heart to think of getting rid of him.

Get a Labrador, they just pick the cat shite out and eat it and would
probably love washing it down with a fresh drink...
Great, you only have to top up the litter every now and again..
