My cat has an area...round....probably no bigger than half the size of
the end of your little finger....that has appeared slightly below the
area where her hair is naturally thin in front of her ears.  I have
noticed that she will scratch it and that it had bled slightly from
her scratching before I saw it and started putting meds on it (Tomlyn
Fungisan at first...and now Pet Gold Hydrocortisone Lotion).  Is it
possible that this could be ringworm ?  And if so can it be treated at
home or is a trip to the vet in order ?

Thanks

Give your vet a call. He/she is in the best position to give you an answer.

White Iodine is good for fungus.  But you have to go to a
pharmacy and ask for it, sometimes called "clear Iodine"
