I just went to Petco and bought $10 worth of toys for my kitty.
And now most of them have disappeared!  Just a few weeks ago
I bought toys at K-Mart and those vanished as well.

I don't know what happens to them.  Kitty must have had a dozen
toy mice since I got her but all of them disappeared.  Even the
bell-balls are gone.

She reminds me of my former ferret.  She probably has a hidey hole
somewhere where she stashes everything.

Probably hidden under the Dog Poop.

Do you have any heat vents on the floor?  Check under furniture,
fridge, etc.  I have to use a yardstick to check in very small spaces.

She took them to Catalina, on her catamaran.  (If she's Spanish she may have
taken them to Catalonia)

Sounds like my babies.  They had six balls of various sizes and I tore
this place apart looking behind, under on and even in closets and
found 2 of them.  Finally went to dolloar store and got them 4 more
the size of a quarter for a dollar.  Figured why pay dollar for a ball
at pet place to loose them when I can get 4 for a dollar the same
size!!

My cat hides his toys AND thing of mine that he steals,
under my bed, lately he's taken a fancy to a little night
night bearI have on the windowsill in the *babies* room
I say *little* but I would have thought it was too big for
him to carry, however he does just that, and drops
it at my feet as usual 3 nights running now, I didn't believe
it at first but it was true.  J.P.

both our cats do the same, they have about 5 little sponge balls that they
play with and i can normally only find about 2 of them, little toy mice that
go missing, they hide them somewhere then a few days later they start
reappearing.  They must do it, so they know where they are for next time

One of my cats is a domestic long haired black and white cat named Bonkers
who has even been known to hide car keys and watches!  She thinks she is a
Norwegian Forest Cat who is well known for their hiding things!

Had a similar problem. When I moved to a new house, I was amazed at the
number of toy mice I found. Not to mention little hordes of cat treats that
he had stashed for later and then apparently forgot about.

I've checked under most of the furniture and found one single toy, a
ping pong ball that had been squashed.  Next I will move the fridge
and look under there.  The toys start to get expensive.  I paid over
a dollar each for the toy mice, then she goes and loses them within
the day!  I did find one mouse, she had thoughtfully dropped it in
her litter box right on top of a poopoo and I had to throw it out.
She had a fishing pole toy but managed to chew though the string,
disconnected the toy fuzzy, then proceeded to lose that too!

Just be grateful that she doesn't take your things outside.  I have a cat
that likes to take various pieces of my underwear outside along with his
toys.  Since I live in an apartment, this can be rather embarassing.
