If you are in any doubt, go and see a vet. If your local vet doesn't operate
an emergency service, find one that does, someone reasonably local to you
should.

Hope your puss is ok.

My tabby had the same problem
when she was allowed outside.
The vet told me that she would
eventually be all right. Just to
give her lots of love, more than usual, and keep the cat in a while until
she got back to
normal. Hope this helps and
your precious companion will
be all right!--Perky 1

I would give the cat a day or two.   If not fine then, visit
the vet.  My cat reacts the same way to fireworks,
thunder, etc.  In the mean time give the cat lots of
love.

Although if the cat seems to be getting to
stressed than you may want to move the vet
appointment up.

Maybe the cat was outside and a bit too close
for comfort to the source of the fireworks?
