My tabby has a harsh meow
like a female cat does when she
goes into heat. but she's been
spayed. Does anyone know if a
female has been spayed, does
she still go into heat and have
that AWFUL meow?
        Thanks for any help or
info you can give.     Perky1

Once a cat is spayed, she doesn't go into heat anymore. The meow is
just her voice. I have 10 and they sound as different as night and
day. One of them has a very high pitched, straining squeak that
doesn't even sound like a meow. A  couple have a harsher sound like
you describe. A couple actually sound like they are saying meeoww.
They have different voices just like people do.

Oh no! That meow is beautiful! How can you say it's awful? In fact I can;t
think of ONE thing about the cats that I dislike! They are just simply
amazing creatures!

You might not like this meow!
It's not like a normal meow,
it's more like a SCREECH!{and
the vet says that she's not sick,
just mouthy! I love cats too,but
this is rediculous!
