I posted over a week ago about a cat that adopted us. Remember I have no
experience with cats nor have I ever liked them until now.
This cat is SO SMART!! We put him in our nice garage room while the
fireworks were going off. He slept in there that night. He didn't have a
litter box. He pooped and peed in a TRASH BAG that I had sitting on the
floor!!!!!! OMG. That was sooo cool!
I had put the litterbox outside because I run a daycare and it wasn't
working out inside the house. Well, last evening while I was not home my
kids had the cat in the house for sometime. I got home and smelled poop.
My 5 yr old showed me where the cat pooped. (He always goes outside). In
the BATHROOM SINK!!!! I thought that was amazing. It was very easy to
clean up there. What a thoughtful cat. Wow.
Anyway, us allergic to cats family are managing. He got a bath with some
cat shampoo that cuts down the allergens. And unfortunately, my 10 yr old
has been having asthma attacks, which she never had before the cat came into
our lives.
If the asthma doesn't settle down then my adult son will take the cat to his
house where he will be loved alot.

Hi, sounds like you got a really cool cat! :)
p.s. ask your vet about Ace Promazine, putting about 4 drops on your cats
food each day really helped with my family's cat allergies.
(it only costs about $10 for 2yrs supply)

Ohh, thanks for that tip.
A friend mentioned something about a product just like you mentioned but had
no idea what it was called.

How does Ace Promazine work? Is it harmful to be placing this chemical
substance on their food?

I'm not sure how it works, but it works good and my cat's been on it for
the past 3 years and is in good health. If it was harmful I don't think my
vet would recommend it

My mom's cat is real smart and thoughtful too. He goes up into my bedroom
and sh.ts underneath the blanket on my bed, or else he sh.ts on any garment
he finds laying anywhere in the house. His feces are usually very messy too,
semisolid and awful smelling, sometimes with streaks of blood in it. He is a
true joy. We now have him restricted to the computer room, where he is busy
dumping his water dish onto the hardwood floor so often that the wood is
permanently stained and warping. The best thing I can say about this cat is
that he is already over 8 years old, so he won't live too much longer.
Anyone want to adopt him? Mike.

Your cat sounds like he needs a trip to the Vet. You need to do some reading on proper cat diet.
The loose stools are an indication of something amiss in his diet. Cats can live 15 to 20 or more
years with proper feeding and care -- it is all up to you now. MLB

Your cat needs medical attention if he is going to the bathroom where he
shouldn't be and has blood in his stool!
Do you make sure litterboxes are cleaned everyday?
To us it would be like going to the bathroom in a port-a-potty
everyday...would you do that???
Blood in stool could mean many internal problems which also is causing your
cat to act up, he's trying to tell you he is sick. Tell your mother to take
him to the vet for tests.
Another reason this cat may be going to the bathroom on your bed is because
the two of you do not get along. It could be revenge if you mistreat him.
Why don't you keep your door shut or better yet be nicer to the cat!!!
Being your mom's cat, stay away from him!
