I must be crazy. My neighbors daughter talked me into taking her siamese
kitten, about 4 months old maybe 5, because with her job she didn't have the
time.
Now I haven't had a kitten around me since 1980, since then I have taken in
fully grow and more mentally stable felines. This gray pointer is bouncing
off walls, tearing up the computer cables, and tempting fate by
attacking/playing with the 16 year old male tail and trying to trip up his
rear legs. I honestly expect to find the kitten dead today because of his
playful nature. Leo, the old male, is very quiet, very docile, and finally
threw paws at the kitten this evening after dinner.
So any hints on how to calm him down or is he in the terrible two's stage of
life?

no he is being a kitten
get toys find things for it to play with
confine to certain locations if possible
the cats will work out the social levels by themselves as long as you
introduced them right and did not say here you go go make friends

I find that spending more time with a wild cat and talking to him/her
does a lot of good. Make clicking, chirping noises to get their
attention, pet them more and they will start calming down and looking
to you for attention. You're the leader of the pack.
