Maybe someone can help me.
Perky is a ten yr, old persian-siamese mix who
has a big mouth and thinks she owns me! Well.
her breath could knock you over, it's so strong.
the vet says everything's all right, but what about
the horrible breath?  Is this normal for this type of
cat or is something wrong that the vet's not catching?
I and my nose need help!!!!!!

Som GI problems manifest themselves as
bad breath.

But cats don't have great breath to begin with.

LOL! Oh dear, I have a kitten with the same problem and it is horrible.  I can
take "Good morning, I just ate breakfast and my breath reeks of cat food"
breath, but this is simply awful.  My vet also didn't have an explanation and
said that some cats are just stinky ;)

my Emmy had breath that could knock you over until I started brushing her
teeth. Its quite nice now.  Its not as hard as you'd think if you get the
finger caps.  the toothpaste apparently tastes ok.

there are also breath mints for cats..

She probably needs to see the dentist.  When my Siamese (RB) developed
bad breath (and it was terrible) I took her to a new Vet.  He
discovered two teeth that were decayed at the gumline.  Her previous
Vet did not discover this even when cleaning her teeth.

How good is she at drinking water?  Drinking after eating might help
too.
