"lost" cat

I took in a stray male tonight for warmth. He hurt his right front paw. Am
planning on taking him to the vet in the morning when I take 3 others of my
own. BUT...I seemed to have misplaced him! :( He was laying under a sofa
in the den...well, he seems to have vanished. I had the back door opened
(not the storm door). Not sure if he could had pushed on it and got out or
not. Mind you, I have 8 other cats who are wondering what he is doing in
their home. But, if he is still in here, they dont know where he is either

If you fed him, he will very likely be back in a couple of days.......

Oh,he escaped out the back door...but left before I could have help getting
him in a carrier to make a vet visit. I inquired about what, if any, I
should do. But the vet didnt starve from me not taking him. My bill for the
3 of my 8 indoor cats I took was over 200 dollars! :(
