Please update us.  I think surgery was scheduled for today.  Meggie sounds
like a very special cat.

One of the operating technicians was sick, so they rescheduled Meggie's
operation for Thursday morning......I will let you know how it turns out on
Thursday afternoon. (assuming, of course, that they don't reschedule it
again) It was a pain having to keep her from eating this morning....We have
four cats, and the other three had to go without eating too.....Thursday
will be better, because none of them eat much in the middle of the night.
They all wait for us to wake up and give them fresh food.....Meggie will get
whisked away before she gets to eat on Thursday........

Thanks for the information.  A wait like that is always so frustrating, but
it's understandable in this case...will watch for your message.

She is surprisingly active, and hasn't lost her appetite.....So I don't
believe the tumor is in any important organ. I am hoping for the best on
Thursday.......

Reminds me a little bit about when I took Deetoo into the vet to be spayed.
I was instructed to not let her have any food or water after midnight. The
next morning when I was showering just before taking her into the vet, she
was so thirsty she tried to get into the shower with me.

Best wishes for Meggie.
