I live in Wisconsin, where the weather is getting quite cold. My cat seems
to have developed an eye infection or cold.
His left eye is half shut and a little mucus is presnt. Is there a good
treatment or do these just run their course
Thanks

Take him to the vet.....If it were your eye, would you take a chance to save
a couple of dollars?

Sounds like an upper respiratory infection. They will not usually run their
course and may get worse. You need to have your cat seen by a vet.

Yes..please take him to the vet. I made a mistake of not getting Hobbes
there asap, and he had an URI plus the watery eye. Now he has a constant eye
condition due to tear duct blockage. I clean his eye daily with warm water.
